A lot of people are being misled at the moment by a corruption of the saying that "size matters" !
well obviously a lot areas it does
However a lot of bollocks is being discussed about Wembley pitch size and us.
Our result today should go along way to proving it does not
we just hit 7 away goals on the Biggest pitch in the EPL!
so to put it in context the pitches measure up like this:- (source Wikipedia)
Wembley measures 105 by 69 metres or 7245 sq meters
The KC stadium measures 114 x 74 meters or 8436 sq meters
Now I know Hull were crappy but look at the link below to all the pitches in the EPL and tell me that size was in any way really relevant to any of our bad results
There is a link below to all the pitch sizes from the EPL this season just gone
Yeah the one we ended up coming 2nd..
We may have a problem adjusting to playing at Wembley, I honestly do not think we will
The size of the pitch is IMHO totally irrelevant to the way we play
I think we will adjust very quickly, make Wembley our fortress and challenge again.
I am sure Poch and the team know this stuff already.....
But pundits are thick and looking for reasons to dis us so they come up with crap each season as to why we wont challenge next season!
Let em they are in for a huge surprise. If we can maintain our form next season.
Relax and enjoy the ride of the best Spurs team I have seen in over 50 years!
