It has become the norm for Alli to miss an easy goal and then go on and score later in the game :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
I love Alli as much as the next person, but one worry is he does miss too many easy chances. When he has time to think in a 1 on 1 situation I never fancy him, and he also misses an above average number of sitters. He is at his best when the finish is instinctive.

But it's fair to say he more than makes up for it so please don't think this is me hating!! Just imagine if he could improve that side of his game - would hit 20+ goals in all competitions regularly, which is insane for an attacking midfielder.

All players miss 'easy' chances.

It's the attitude after that differentiates good players by making themselves available to score again and not hiding.

Ex Real Madrid players have started talking about Alli signing for them. This is going to be a long summer and I have this transfer window already and it hasn't even opened yet. Below is an interview with Roberto Carlos.

“Yes, definitely!” Carlos told The Sun, when asked if he thought Alli would suit Real Madrid. “He’s a brilliant player. I love him, I’ve seen him play some great games in England.

“Of course, it’s not up to me — transfers will, of course, be decided by the president. But, we definitely could sign him. He is undoubtedly good enough for Real Madrid.”

The Sun? I wonder if these are real quotes or will they retract them like they did the Xavi ones last week

Even Messi misses easy chances. Nothing to worry about imo.

Just spoke to someone who was at the game yesterday, Alli gave the boots he had with him to someone in the disabled section, so wasn't an advertising thing at all.

Only Sky can twist a nothing story into something:

Dele Alli had admitted that he does not know here his future lies despite being on a long-term contract at Tottenham.
Alli has been outstanding this season as Mauricio Pochettino’s men secured second place in the Premier League after winning the White Hart Lane finale against Manchester United on Sunday.
The 21-year-old, who was named PFA Young Player of the Year for the second successive season, is contracted at Tottenham until 2022 but that hasn’t stopped La Liga giants Real Madrid being strongly linked with a move for the former MK Dons star.
Alli has admitted in the past that he is happy in north London but it is only natural that he has ambitions to play abroad and at one of the biggest clubs in the world.
He told Sky Sports: “I think it’s important for me not to get too carried away by what will happen in the future. The way football is, anything can happen at any time.
“I will enjoy my time here now, who knows what will happen in the future.”

suppose they wont be happy till we sell Rose, Walker, Toby, Alli, Kane, Eriksen, Dier and push Poch to Barca. Then can finally rest midtable where they want us.

God I'd love for pool to miss out on the top4 and united to lose in the final...fuckers

He looked desperate to be the last scorer at the Lane. Trying some Ronaldinho shit was cool to see even though it didn't come off.

I thought exactly the same. He was desperate to score yesterday. I loved that.

Also loved the picture of him and Dier doing the lap of honour holding hands.

I thought his response to that question was fine. He's not going to say 'I'm definitely going to spend the rest of my career at Spurs', because that would be stupid. The line 'you never know what can happen in the future' is what players are told to say by their 'people' as it means you're not going back on your word if things suddenly change. I got the impression from the interview with J Redknapp that he is very happy here and will be here for a long time -- as long as we're moving forward and challenging for trophies. Inevitably, if we're not, he's going to look elsewhere.

It's honestly pathetic how much sky despise us for breaking up THEIR top 4.

They could have easily made the headline of that article 'Alli open to spending career at Spurs' but no, they chose the one line that sounds like he's open to moving.
