I think Poch has to take most of the blame. His approach to cup games MUST give the players mixed messages! That doesn't excuse the players though, either they want to win trophies or they don't, too many performances suggest they're not too bothered.

Is this where we finish 4th and united win Europa....what's the rule this season, would we be in or out of Champs league in that scenario?
In. They allow five teams per nation now.

However, if we finish 4th, United win EL and finish below us, AND Leicester win CL, we're fucked again.

Out thought? Really? Did you watch the game? We had 25 shots to their 5. I know which team bossed the game. Our finishing was off today. That is all and that is football.
I think they outthought us over the 2 legs. They made the most of the situation - they still came forward even when we were on top of them. They did brilliantly. Fair play to them.

We've been playing European football regularly for ten seasons now yet we are still easily the most naive side I've consistently seen in European competition. Zero intelligence.
Always out thought and out manoeuvred by virtually every side we come up against. Every decent side, ( and some very average sides ) anyway.

Unlucky in the sense we probably should have had a freekick before the red
So had to play what? 50 Mins with 10 men. 65% possession with 10 men 20 odd shots at goal.
Own goal from a corner which wasn't a corner
They had one shot on target all game and again I think Winks was possibly fouled before they broke away, they didn't replay it though sadly.

So yes I would define that as being unlucky in this match.
How many saves did their keeper make?

We're an absolute joke of a football club. I just pray when the new stadium opens its like a new club and fresh start.
Every year we find new ways to fuck things up. Whenever it matters we blow it in the end. Until the whole DNA of the club changes we ain't ever gonna win anything other than the odd league cup.

Not a chance if Man Utd had our team would they not be getting to the Europa league final this year. We could probably have Messi and Ronaldo in their prime and find a way to end season with nothing. I don't blame the players or manger, it's been same shit for years and years and it'll carry on. Over 25 years we've become a failure of a club and it'll continue until we somehow find a way to change it.

Fuck that. Took their foot off the gas after each goal and Alli was the petulant little **** we all know he has been since he started playing for us. Kane needs a rest, Walker needs to pass and Jan needs to play upfront. Oh and pigs need to fly. ****s.

14/15 - started very poorly, got better and looked decent, fell off
15/16 - started poorly, got better and looked good, fell off
16/17 - started poorly, got better and looked good, fell off(and we've seemingly started the collapse alot earlier this season too)

We are just not as good as we think we are and sadly a continuous cycle of failing nearly this nearly that very very frustrating.
