Spelling was never my fort hay.

On what basis should we discount and disregard his previous actions and conduct when these have been carried through and demonstrated at this club? And you may like to think you set and the control the parameters of the discussion ( the we can stop this discussion now line being a prime example of that) but you do not. It may be inconvenient evidence on your part but his previous conduct is a demonstration of his mindset.
As I said before there is a series of issues at play here. These issues have been demonstrated in the Leicester (both) Dortmund, Crystal Palace, Liverpool cup games to name a few. It is not just about playing weakened teams, it's about excessive changes, about an inability to apply an effective and balanced rotation policy. It is about his statements that tournaments such as the UEFA cup is a hinderance to the club. It is about the prioritisation if the league at the expense of the cups. As I stated there is a clear disconnect between tournaments. You may wish to ignore or deny this, good for you but some others won't.
To anyone who went to the Pompey or Chelsea semi-finals at Wembley, what was our allocation, and what's the ticketing process?
I know we need to get there first, so im not getting too far ahead of myself but I've just realised I'm on holiday the semi-final weekend and I want to know roughly my chances of getting a ticket before I rearrange.
Winks is so, so ready to start league matches for us - it almost makes me wish Dembele gets another injury so we can give the kid a run of games
We had 31,585 tickets for the last FA Cup semi final v Chelsea, loyalty points cut off was 134.
Winks has great potential and played very well yesterday, but to say he is at Dembeles level is nonsense.
They are different types of midfielders though, which is the main point being made. It's about what works best for the team, depending on who we are playing.
Plus there are some areas he is above Dembeles 'level', I would also back Winks to be a goal threat.
You're having a rant about the last decade and then wish to bring Pochettino into that equation, and just for good measure you mention his stint at Southampton. He hasn't been here for a decade, has he? Why not have a go about the other managers who were here for a decade? I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for you; your points are futile. So what? So it accounts for us failing to win anything in a decade despite having two of its best sides in this era. I love how some are so blase about this. And he didn't have a clear choice to make, that is the very point being made here. The Dortmund game was completely unnecessary just as when he played a weak ended team against Sunderland whilst at Southampton (who were comfortably in the top ten at the time) was completely unnecessary. But hey why should Southamptons supporters expect anything other than survival right? As for not answering to me, I really do understand such asinine statements, when was there ever an expectation that he would. This is an internet discussion board, it's a platform to discuss all of aspects of he club, not a means to change because it could never be a portal to do that. And It's quite clear what my motivation is, I want the club to prioritise silverware and it demonstrates just how warped the modern game is when so supporters many cannot understand this or see alterior motives behind it.
I think Pochettino had originally thought that the EL was a hinderence whilst he was at Southampton and I recall that he made a load of changes in a cup match and their fans weren't so happy about it but I believe that he's changed his mindset since he's been with us, he made those comments about the UEFA Cup whilst he was Southampton manager three (3) years ago when he said that it's not an attractive competition, he didn't say that whilst he was at Spurs...

On the evidence on the team he picked against Gent where he picked 8 first team regulars for example why would you think that's still the case?
So now you're including League Cup matches...a competition that since we've been going for top four and the league is seen as our lowest priority? Funny how you've ignore the run to the final of that competition in his first season. Why would you want to throw first team regulars or stronger team in a midweek match in a period where we were playing league and CL matches to boot?
If you're talking about that Leicester FA cup match in 2014/15 where we lost 2-1 at it was sandwiched in between the two League Cup semi Final's against Sheffield Utd, pray tell what did you expect him to do? We were also playing on average a game every 3 days in that period. If there was a match where we rotated heavily it would be that one wouldn't it? the other cup match against Leicester last season we won so your point is invalid there.
The Palace match we started with 8 first team regulars and we dominated the match and Palace nicked a goal, games like that are played out in the Premier League, we lost to Southampton, Newcastle and West Brom at home last season in similar circumstances, there was certainly no evidence of a disconnect or lack of focus in that match from the players, it was just one of those matches.
The only match that he purposely played a weakened team was against Dortmund which has been pretty much covered, we were in the thick of the title race, 2 points off Leicester at the time, wasn't that the time when we had dropped 5 points in the title race in the two big London derbies, I can understand why he went for a weakened team as we had a legitimate chance to win the title but yeah if there is one match you can say that he threw was the Dortmund one but the circumstances are understandable.
I'm still waiting for evidence that supports the argument that he throws cup matches by weakened teams.
dam , will tickets go to stub hub for a cup final? What about if we drew man city or boro in the final will they take less of there allocation ...Your option is about £350 cheapest.
Like most of us without a season ticket.
Terrestrial or satellite.Silly question .. I'm on an international membership and haven't got enough loyalty points . If we make the final what are my options ?
You can have mine for £349.99.dam , will tickets go to stub hub for a cup final? What about if we drew man city or boro in the final will they take less of there allocation ...
Bloody lower league fans and their inability to recognise our obvious superiority. How dare he even address you, the footballing peasant!Back to work today and bump into a Fulham fan
Me: We wont talk about Sunday shall we haha
Him: Yeh we didn't look like we were bothered. They wanted to go out
Me: The gulf in class did that I think
Him: Na, they wanted to go out. Plus two of the goals were offside
Me: *sigh* we'll...leave that there
Who pissed on your cornflakes?Bloody lower league fans and their inability to recognise our obvious superiority. How dare he even address you, the footballing peasant!
We've all been there. Getting on ok as we are, then get a big derby cup tie against a stronger opposition in which we think 'what if', only to be put firmly back in our place. Then comes Monday morning and the opposition fan.Who pissed on your cornflakes?
The negative ratings are justified because for whatever reason, whether it be for Winks or any other player you want in your team, you dont wish injury on another player so that wish can be realised. If you are in agreement with @JUSTINSIGNAL then your views are just as warped.I know what you mean so I dont know why you got all those negatives. Winks is good to watch and is dependable so if Dembele was out one wouldnt begrudge Winks getting a run.
