the way we went 2-0 was totally our own doing, but if the score had been 3 or 4-0 at the time we couldn't really complain.

the ref was shit, we should of had a free kick just before their 2nd, and Walker should of been off and conceded a penalty. the only thing we did right all day was scored with our 2 efforts on goal, but every time a team presses us big time we struggle

We're not legends they simply played better.

Its the same when we smash teams and people say the opposition were so poor. We make them look poor and city did the same to us that first half.

2nd half they edged it but was a bit closer

It wasn't me saying we were legends - that was me reprimanding the knee jerkers on this site - "we bottle it in Manchester" - whoever said that. Twat.
We got it wrong today and we got a point - absolutely delighted.

And for those Naysayers - Let's remind ourselves of how we are doing against the top 6 this season.
Chelski - 3 points from 6. All square.
Ar$e - 1 drawn all to play for. Oh and we have them at home so that's 3 point to us. 4 points to us - 1 to them
Manure - 0 points - Home game to play and we''ll deck them at the Lane. 3 points to come. All square.
Man Shitty. 4 points from 6 - Thank you.
Liverpool - 1 point in the bag - and we'll draw at theirs All square.

That's my frigging predictions for you all negative nay-sayers and doom mongers!
COYS!

To come back from 2-0 down, at Etihad Stadium, shows excellent character and team morale. I am so pleased we were able to come back to get a point there. Very pleased with the result because we we're quite lucky today. If we push on from here, oh boy are we in it to win it! COME ON YOU SPURS!!!!!!

And how many times do we get pressed in that way?!!! City did well and came out to nullify us in that way - smart - but rare.

They are talking about the penalty, saying it should have been a penalty and a red card, I thought that the rules had changed and there would be no double jeopardy ie penalty no red card.

A City fan i know is in right rag after that. Said Spurs were shit and that's why they won't win the league, I had to point out that fighting back from 2 down at a title rival is exactly why they could win the league!

Only if attempting to get the ball.

What. A. Game.

I can't remember any other game from past 10 years when we were so lucky.

Anyway, we received quite a lot of unfavorable referee decisions against City and United in the past, I don't give a flying **** about us robbing them.

Let's hope Toby will recover quickly.

Have a nice evegning guys!

We were shocking for most of this match, but the fact we kept going and stole a point is my kind of "spursy."[/QUOTE]

"Pochettino-y" is the word I think you're looking for.

I'd be interested in the psychology of this. Playing amazingly well for 5/6 games then being absolutely shit today. Like everyone had their off day.
We know we can play much much better. Probably one of our worst performances in the last 2 months.
This wasn't about us playing badly. This was about city absolutely battering us. The response from last weeks game against Everton. The fact we are ahead of them. The fact they have been so heavily criticised. The fact we put their unbeaten run to bed. Make no mistake they were SO up for this. Have you ever seen them so pumped? We just couldn't live with them. But we stuck at it. Found their weakness (defending) and came away with a lucky draw.

Give Pep and City credit for the way they approached the game. Only the top teams can afford to push on against us like City did. They learned from Chelsea's second half against us at the Bridge.

We could have been hammered but weren't. Dug deep and got a draw. Different mentality about this group than many of the Spurs teams I have watched down the years.

The focus will be on the non call for the peno but it should be on the quality of Son's goal. Had Barcelona or Arsenal scored it we would hear about it.
