Poch deserves to be trusted. He's one of the best young managers around, and we're lucky to have him. And despite what some on here think, they don't know what goes on behind the scenes, they don't know what Levy is thinking. Maybe Poch said this player is too expensive, he's not worth it. YOU HAVE KNOW IDEA.

It's a good point, and few could disagree with the sentiment, but WE WANT ISCO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, but you can rate it on the ambition shown by the club whether it works out or not...and frankly, it doesn't appear the club has shown much of it. The opportunity for clubs with Spurs' business model are few and far between and I think we've missed an opportunity here to step up another level.

I hope Ali Z doesn't get crucified if nothing comes off. People need to remember that some ITK's are at the mercy of the personality/character type of the person they are getting info off of.

For example, is Ali Z's contact the careful, doesn't get carried away, never makes assumptions type or is he a slightly optimistic excitable type that can get a little ahead of himself sometimes ? Of course, some ITK's will probably consider things like this about their contacts before turning the language into info that they pass on, but some won't.

Good on Ali Z for faithfully passing on what he is hearing, despite the others all saying nothing is happening. As I say, I hope he doesn't get chased away if nothing does transpire.

I disagree, it's not a superstar or bust. Any player who would round out the squad would be better than nothing.

I think Poch is to be trusted too. I'm just not so certain that Levy is giving Poch what he has asked for.

The reason we havent announced anyone yet is because levy is waiting for critical mass before getting out his commemorative transfer deadline day gold plated coin. With VDV on one side and Damiao on the other. He will flick this at some Point this evening and decide how the day will end. He will then polish it with his best head polishing cream. Carefully place it back in the mahogany box. And leave the office. As he gets to the gates he will either give the thumbs up or thumbs down. And then he will head to KFC for his usual kids chicken meal and will spend the rest of the evening colouring in and doing the puzzles on the box. Oblivious to the happiness or angst of the average Tottenham fan. Meanwhile his team will frantically try to find who is left from the VDV or Damiao pile of players they have been looking through for the last 6 months.
