Only Spurs can be linked with both Sissoko and Isco, two completely different players but likely it will only be 1. I think Sissoko sounds less appealing because of the Isco talk. He's still a good player and an improvement over Mason/Carroll. However Isco is the key ingredient that we're missing. The difference is one is a good squad player the other is a improvement to the first 11.

It wouldn't be a deadline day if we didn't swing from despair at the likes of Sissoko and Zaha to dreaming of an Isco. At least it's interesting again now. I thought after signing Wanyama and Janssen early and Nkoudou seeming to be done weeks ago it might be an uneventful end to the window.
Perhaps our recruitment department is created from a dyslexia employability initiative

Sissoko also sounds less appealing because for the majority of the time he was at Newcastle he was utter turd

That's way too harsh. Isco is competing with the likes of Ronaldo, Bale and James. That's circa. £300m of talent right there.

Also Pogba is a Man Utd reject.

Maybe harsh, to be honest I have no problems with Zaha or Isco, they are both fine players. However, would they win/turn matches for us like Payet and Mahrez do?

What, like Kane, Eriksen and Dele do when sharp? Isco is better than Payet and Mahrez, but I doubt we'll get him.

Its funny how this possible deal isn't just driving Spurs fans crazy. Opposition fans are going crazy too. They don't want to believe. Lol!

I find the transfer window like a prostate exam. I know what to expect but no amount of mental preparation can make the end result any more enjoyable.

Is it that enjoyable?
I'm thinking about doing a check soon... Hm...

Sissoko as an alternative to Dembele is actually not a bad idea.

Obviously the money they want is stupid and if he's an alternative to Isco then it also doesn't make sense.

However, for the right price and in isolation, if he is signed as an alternative to Dembele then I'm cool with it.

Isco will win matches for us, I think he is far better than Mahrez.

We drew 13 games last year, the most of the top 6. This year we have had 31 shots on goal over 3 games. We can wait for Dele, Kane and Erikssen to find form, or we could drop them to the bench if we had viable alternatives, but we don't have depth at the moment. You can see with Dembele missing how weak our overall team play is.

How much of the "Sissoko was demotivated at newcastle and didnt try hard enough" is based on the fact that they were relegated rather than watching him play more than the 2 games against us? Apparently Benitez named him captain for the last 6 games of the season in which they were unbeaten. Maybe not all his fault then.

If that's who Poch wants I'm all for it. The same goes for Zaha.

I understand the benefits of being PL proven, but having signed Wanyama I can't believe there isn't a better technically rounded player that could come in for the same price. He's going to come in for £20m plus.

He's a horribly inconsistent player with a terrible touch.
