Gards: So as it stands for an update 20m for Zaha plus Onomah on loan turned down, Isco not happening, GKN will and not sure who else other than MS
Good bit of news from this is the realisation from the club that Onomah needs a loan

Sissoko actually makes more sense now that Bentaleb and Mason are gone, as it would give us cover at both slots in Poch's favored formation (ie Dier/Wanyama, Dembele/Sissoko). And if we really got 13 mil (!) for Mason, I would take a trade of Mason + Pritchard for Sissoko...

N'Jie hasn't gone anywhere (yet) has he? We will still have 2 wide midfielders if we do end up signing GKN. Quite a few wanted this as an option so they may well get their wish?

If we don't sell anyone else apart from N'Jie I could live with this.

N'Kandou effectively replaces N'Jie/Chadli who shared a role last year.

Sissoko replaces Bentaleb/Mason/Carroll who also shared a role.

It does leave us a bit light on numbers though. A couple if injuries and we could be looking at Champions League ties with quite a few of the youngsters on the bench.

Thing is we doubled our tv revenue, got CL money and nothing has changed. Good old Levy, doing not more than necessary :D

It is honestly quite impressive how competitive we remain as club considering how we've had to operate since going ahead with massive super stadium.
The likes of palace and Hull probably outspend us minus wages but we'll still finish above them

Yeah, I don't see the hate for MS honestly. He is a tank, can run for hours, and has more offensive output than most of our CM2 comp. Is it the sexy midfield playmaker I want (Isco, Silva), no, but I do think it is an improvement on depth.

Think Sissoko is the most likely now, as he really doesn't want to be there next season and it has deadline day deal written all over it, I would actually be quite happy with that, if Dembele is out we miss someone who can carry the ball forward.

Football transfers.. the only industry in the world where movements of employees, or the lack of them, brings so much joy and despair to people all over the world..
