Points deduction eh...lets see how motivated half the England team is going to be with that at the Euros. That would be a smart move FA.

To those disagreeing with what I've said here, what exactly do you disagree with? Just interested to know.

@double0 @Eric_s @arunspurs

Well, first of all Parker has never been in any PL or Championship winning sides. So, am not sure how much he would contribute. Carrick - I dont think he is kind of player who influences players around him. I have never seen him arguing or getting his fellow players going.

Also, we already had 3 players who have won titles but in different leagues.

We are youngest PL squad in the country. There is no indication from Pochettino or from our club in general that we are after any experienced heads. If we are buying we would be buying only 23 year olds or under. So, cant see any experienced heads coming in.

Given above scenario, only way our players will learn is by on the job experience.

Entire squad would have learnt from this title chasing expereince. When the next season comes in, am sure our players would have learnt their mistakes. This includes Pochettino too. There is no better way to learn than learning from your own mistakes.

Squawka have a poll running at the moment but i'm confused. Shouldn't it read "Best" not "worst"??

wow so hearing Dembele is going to get a punishment of more than 3 games, that is fucking ridiculous quite frankly.

Looks like only Dembele will be banned - but ban will be more than 3 matches

Otherwise club charged with failing to control players. Usually just a stiff fine and warning

That is ridiculous, Torres never got banned for clawing Vertonghen and Huth only got a one match for pulling hair, how is it then ok to say Dembele deserves more than 3?

The media yet again influencing the FA.

I watched this game with my daughter...she couldn't understand why whenever we had a corner the vitriol, C word etc and hate constantly hurled at the players trying to take the corners wasn't dealt with by stewards / police ....told her it was disugusting and nothing like that ever happens at the Lane....

Clattenburg should also get banned for failing to keep control of the match. He was out of his depth from the first whistle.

'failing to keep control' implies he was in control at the start !

I'd suggest he lost control in the first minute - there were several Chelsea fouls in the first couple of minutes which if the ref had 'had words' with the Chelsea players concerned would have stopped problems before they started

I'd agree, one of the most ineffective refereeing displays I've ever seen. Waste of space - should have been told to donate his match fee to charity

The club need to make it clear that Mousa was provoked by dogface, who was squeezing his back before he lashed out. Video clearly shows that.

Has to mitigate it to some degree.

I think he'll get a 5 match ban.

People that complain about this because it resulted in us conceding goals or giving up a lead are looking at this in a very narrow, short-sighted context. This was about a whole lot more than winning this game or giving up points from being 2 goals up, the title was gone anyway so the result wouldn't have really mattered.

This was about eradicating any last vestiges of doubt that the Tottenham that led to that infamous Alex Ferguson half-time team talk was gone. This was a watershed moment where we shrugged off any lasting accusation that we are a soft touch. This was about taking it up to the biggest and meanest bully in the yard, a bully that had stolen our lunch money countless times before, and telling that bully to get fucked before punching him square in the nose. This was telling everyone that would listen that we're here to stay and that although we might be the youngest team in the League, we're not going anywhere. This was telling people that they should fear us.

Sometimes the result just doesn't matter and this was certainly one of those times. It transcended the result; it was about so much more than a simple game of football.

Whole squad out for lunch today in the sun, passing a phone round showing Dier's tackles. Having a laugh at that whiney melt Fabregas who hurt his vagina wiping hand.

Thanks for the reply. Appreciate it.

I know Parker hasn't won a title. It wasn't my point though. I was merely trying to emphasise the point that we were lacking experience and had we a bit more we would have ridden it out.

Exactly. It was a statement.

I'm still smiling/laughing to myself about Monday, the way we just tore shit up and didn't give a fuck at Stamford Bridge will be a memory that always last with me. Today at work I was talking with a work colleague who generally likes Spurs and has a huge soft spot for Ledley King (He's a Preston fan) Even he said that he couldn't believe what he was seeing, he has never seen Spurs lose it like that before and pointed out that no-one is gonna see Spurs as a soft touch anymore.

In some sort of perverse way I likes what I saw, it was like watching Uma Thurman take out the Crazy 88's, even though you knew it there was gonna be bloodshed and it was brutal, you were just drawn to it and you wanted more. :D
