I like the way Poch is seen talking to Benitwz and nobody assumes it's Bale they're discussing, come on THINK BIG PEOPLE!
It is certainly nicer to be looking forward to three coming in instead of pinning all our hopes on the one big name we all know and end up not getting though.
I like the way GF states what he knows and can divulge. He doesn't tamper what he hears with his own opinion nor does he exaggerate. Someone said he's been around in another forum under a different name and I'd like to know where and what so that I can follow whatever he has to say on matters Spurs.

Does this mean we should give up supporting spurs for this season or should we kill ourselves?
We should really have a defcon level for transfer windows.
Defcon 1. We sold our star players and didn't replace them. Relegation is imminent.
Defcon 2. We sold a star player and replaced him with a couple of foreigners we don't know.
Defcon 3. We sold squad players and replaced them with players we're not sure about.
Defcon 4. We sold a couple but replaced them with really exciting players that we think could get us top 4.
Defcon 5. We have got the final pieces of the jigsaw. The world is our lobster.
Think we are at defcon 3.2 at the mo.

Personally starting to think some people should just chill.
Lots of talk of the club not learning lessons from the past but perhaps we should trust them a little more.
We started last season and teh majority of people on here were bemonaning the fact that if we didnt sign a striker we would have to rely on bloody Harry Kane!!!
Or a few seasons back when we started playing some jinxed 'never win with him in our team' left back in an advanced position cos we had failed again to sign a decent left winger!!!1
It sounds to me like we will bring in more players but perhaps the people who coach our current payers see things that we dont like maybe Eric Dier could become the next Makelele. Just because he wasnt bought to play there doesnt mean Pochettino et al havent seen something in him to suggest he could be bloody great there, So in their opinion the need is less pressing unless they can get exactly who they want.

Not at all. If we sign a proper, established, fitting, central midfielder then I would consider this window to be a huge success. Anything less is a failure. Poch has wanted that ever since he arrived here well over a year ago. Why on earth do you think he wanted Morgan Schneiderlin so badly? It would be naïve to think our midfield options are currently good enough with the ambitions our club aspire too.
