Nice, a great day for the club, well done Levy - and fair play to Populous - it looks a hell of a lot more contemporary and impressive now - I also know how many times they've tried to get the 'sky walk' into projects so a special pat on the back for lil Dan if he pulls that through :) - we're definitely dressing for the club we want to be...

Not sure I can agree on best turkish though...

I wonder, now that our plans are very much out in the public domain and what with securing the NFL hosting rights will the takeover talk accelerate somewhat?

Think the future focus, i.e. being adjustable should safe standing come in will be huge.

They've really gone to town on the project since the old design:

This I can really get behind. 6 weeks ago, somebody complained about a certain kind of fans being a sorry excuse for a fan based upon me sharing my dislike for the old design. Seems like (naturally) that people within the club agreed with me all along. Happy days.

Saw the plans for the 17k kop and thought I'd compare it against the Dortmund one. 25 bloody thousand in their kop! Butter my arse that's big.

Would be great if we could evolve into something like that.

Believe that is with standing.

I notice that they are now looking to remove 3 of the 4 heritage buildings, that were originally going to be kept under the request of English Heritage:

The Club recognises that the three buildings – 746, 748 and 750 Tottenham High Road (The White Hart, The Red House and The Dispensary) – proposed to be removed as a result of the Northumberland Development Project do represent a regrettable loss of heritage assets.

However their setting is already severely compromised and creates the unacceptable crowd movement issues as a result of the two metre pavement width which forces crowds into the bus lane and the road.

Our proposals replace these buildings with a stunning new terrace to host The Tottenham Experience which creates a much wider pavement width necessary for crowd movement.

So they are citing the lack of pavement as a primary reason for this - @davidmatzdorf what's your take on this? - do you think English Heritage will agree to it?

I'd imagine there's your first delay coming right up
Well that, and financing. How much will this cost and where will the money for it come from? The old scheme was in upwards of £400m was it? This one will easily cost about £600m, I imagine. There is no doubt that will have an effect on the footballing side of things over the next 5 or 6 years, as we're going to have mountains of debt to pay off once we get into the stadium.
