Did really well today. I rate him.

Might put a cheeky tenner on him to be the all time PL top scorer.

He played ok against a team who are bottom of the league. If you can see him leading our frontline for the rest of the season or any season then god help us

Except we need a 3rd choice striker, a guy that is happy to sit out and get called upon when needed, Kane fits the bill, nowhere has anyone said he will be leading the line, give the lad some credit, he has shown some improvement this season and the right attitude.

I am not determined for any of our players to fail. Just stating my opinion on it. And I have made that clear.

But you haven't provided any reasoning. You just 'stated your opinion' (several times) and then contradicted yourself by adding 'fact', which most of us know is not the same as 'opinion'. What's the point of announcing that you're sure he's not good enough and then stopping there? There's no point to a post that states an opinion but doesn't provide any reasoning. It's just online exhibitionism.

Kane is a decent player, but not gonna be good enough for where we wanna be imo. 4th striker maybe, but he won't be satisfied with that. He's quite a slow player tbf, but has got a brain on him, will give him that.

Overall he's not the quickest. But like you said he's got a quick brain and does possess a 'burst' of pace which combined with good control and technique can make him dangerous.

He'll be a really good Championship player at least. I think many people forget how young he is at 20. He could yet still develop further and certainly has a future in Premiership football which may not be with us granted.

I said it before and this night made it only clearer to me: Perfect third striker. Will be happy about every minute he can get. Home grown, own product, heart on the right place, decent player to have against the lower league table clubs. I have him over Yaya Sanogo every day.

He gets into really good positions, and uses his body against defenders well. Sadly, his first touch kills most of his chances. If he can fix that, he could be a good "brute" type striker.

Genuine question, would you rather have Soldado leading the line at the moment? Not saying Kane is a better footballer than Soldado but he could have scored a hat-trick tonight. When was the last time Soldado looked remotely close to actually scoring? Kane might be a lot less aesthetically pleasing from a footballing point of view and he doesn't have an exotic name but he's not afraid to put himself about, gets in great positions and causes real problems for the defenders. I would love for Soldado to come good but at the moment he just looks lost, he's not evening threatening to do something.

Actually on second thoughts, Kane even has a better name than Soldado!

Ok then, he is too slow, misses too many chaces, and doesn't hold the ball up well enough. Has very limited skill. I can see that in the limited games he had played for us already.

I give you 1 out of 4.

He certainly misses too many chances.

But he's 20 and has just started to break into the team with more frequency.

Lets see how he does rather than making our mind up straight away hey Mystic?

Did you know Les Ferdinand was still playing for Hayes Athletic at 21 years? And that Ian Wright was playing for Greenwich Borough at the 21 years?

He's developing well and played very well today. If people fail to see that well...

They know fuck all.

To be honest I would take nobby over kane every day of the week.

Fair enough, why is that may I ask?

Again, not saying Kane is a better player but I see Soldado on the pitch at the moment and I have absolutely no idea where his next goal is going to come from.

Surely that's something he does do well for a 20 year old lad?

Did you ever watch Defoe try and hold up a ball?

Don't think he has the skill, hold up play or shooting accuracy... YET! He is still 20 years old and these skills can be coached. Not saying he will ever be our first choice striker but the lad has talent and it looks like he has the determination and passion to succeed. Perfect third choice for us. And as has been said already, will be greatful for any minutes he gets on the pitch.

sorry think i need to qualify that a bit more.... to the standard to be up there fighting for first choice, although he is giving a damn good go at it!

Unbelievable some of the negativity on here, he's only 20 and just made his first ever PL start. If Lamela had got a goal and assist on his first start the whole of North London would have been submerged in a sea of jizz.
