No Johnson must surely mean full steam ahead with Willian.
Perfect competition/cover along with GDS (if he stays) for the IF roles with Bale and Lennon (VDV as well if needed out there)

VDV to Manu is a no go as the main reason for a move would be to move closer to his wife's work which is not manchester.

Has there been any recent ITK on GDS? Must be back at training now or is he still injured? AVB said he wanted to talk to him on his return, have we heard if/how that went or AVB's thoughts?

AvB said he pulled a muscle yesterday in training

Re the Goat's info on Adam Johnson, i'm not particularly bothered as whilst he is talented, his attitude is questionable along with possessing less work rate than Bale.

Still though, much depends on if we secure deals for Willian and/or Isco and whilst there has been ITK on both, it still seems the actual transfer value on either remains a complete mystery and could either be a bargain amount or £20million plus.

We shall see.

According to the OS, he did his calf in his first session back.

this is on the tottenham site

He added: "Scott Parker is making a good recovery but Gio was unlucky in a training session today, he pulled his calf muscle. It’s poor news for him because it was his first training session. There are a couple of other things, but nothing major."

so dont think he has had a chance to see if he wants him or not yet

Just been listening to an interview with Bassong on Talkshite. From Norwich's first interest in him to signing took 3 weeks. The wheels seem to grind far more slowly than we realise or like.

These next 7 days could see a flood of money coming in for SC. I for one have a lot of money at stake (and already owed) via the transfer pledge thread.
