If SIC in Portugal are reporting it then it's likely to be true. Kinda like ITV or BBC, don't really report on it until it's come from a reliable source.

He does seem to have a lot of good attributes to be fair, the initial negativity last night seems to have been replaced with more annoyed Porto fans, and understandably so, he's their top scorer and only just arrived. Seems they are just hoping that he's off because they are getting someone in. Seems quick, good in the air and looks to have a bit of vision, interesting.

I'd suggest Porto is a step up from Spartak and his goal to game ratio seemed to have picked up nicely.

Might not be the worst stop gap at all. You do wonder if Spurs should be looking to do better than a 28 Cape Verdean International that Brighton kicked the tyres of back in 2018 however.

Are you sure? I'm just checking the Premier League Handbook and it says this:

V.7.5. the maximum number of Temporary Transfers to any one Club registrable in the same Season shall be four and in no circumstances shall more than one be from the same Transferor Club at any one time save there shall be excluded from these numbers any Temporary Transfer of the kind described in V.7.6.1 or V.7.6.2; V.7.6. not more than two Temporary Transfers shall be registered by a Club at the same time except that there shall be excluded from that number: V.7.6.1. any Temporary Transfer which become permanent; and V.7.6.2. the Temporary Transfer of a goalkeeper which in its absolute discretion the Board may allow in circumstances it considers to be exceptional;
I think registration is just after each transfer window, so you can register two in the summer and two in January. Hence the max being 4

The above paragraph refers to domestic loans only I believe. Ally Gold did an article on it this week.

Quick search of his name on Twitter shows they’re pretty aghast about the prospect of him leaving as well.

Always a good sign.

I know nothing about him but sounds like he has more about his game than piatek. If it’s a loan until the end of the season then I see no harm in it. If he does well we might think about taking him on. They might fancy Foyth on loan in return?

With our very questionable transfer record, loans with option to buy are pretty ideal aren't they? Try before you buy.

for sure, i'd rather loan someone who's shit rather than buy someone who's shit and still be struggling to offload them 4 windows later.
