Afternoon Fellas!

So just a quick post really to ask what kind of things you would potentially like to see on the official website in the near future?

We're due an update, re-design and just general overhaul so anything that you had maybe thought of recently, now would be the time to tell me so that I can put it forward and possibly see it come to fruition!

Let me know!

I sent about a 1000 word letter to the club detailing problems I've had with the website, without any response, so I think that will do for me....

At least they managed to add the "Put to card" option for ticket delivery method.

Top Story - Premier League apologise, new striker was signed in time :)

Actually, other than being a bit slow I think you do a bang up job

Any jobs going there? :shifty:

- Cut down on the Flash assets (even better - eliminate them completely) and replace with client side scripting solutions.

- Use Google Analytics asynchronously so as not to slow the page down.

- Use HTML5 for the video player so as it will play in iphones/ipads.

- Increase the quality of the resized thumbnails.

I'll tell you more once I have another look at the site.

See, if I'd have answered like that I'd get a job there :-(

i feel the website is just difficult to navigate and really not user friendly in general. It's certainly in need of an update and can't wait to see whats done!

Simple is often better.

It terms of content, and how regularly it is updated, it is pretty good. More stuff like Spurs Extra though.

Style-wise it is horrible. Get in whoever re-did the Man City site, that one looks absolutely lush.

Haha thanks Dougal.

As it goes I don't actually work there either, my bro does and it's not done at Spurs, i.e. the club don't design and build the site themselves they just populate the data content, the look and feel is done by an outside agency, but no, there are no jobs going there either......trust me, I've tried!

As I say the content is down to the club themselves to sort out, Spurs Extra is my fave feature too but they don't do it often enough. I'll make sure they are told that though.

As far as style goes, I always thought it was quite nice and in all honesty we will never be at a stage where 100% of fans love the design, it's just not possible, after all, we all like different things right, be boring if we didn't!

I've been told there will be no flash anymore and it will only be HTML5 or J Query from now on so you can expect it to be quicker overall.

I would imagine that they are more to do with admin to be honest,

but the onlne shop is terribly slow for months, in many locations and I couldn't order the cup kit due to this.

I kept losing tickets because Javescript failure's wouldn't let me delete excess tickets that I didn't want in my basket.

They keep messing people around with the tickets exchange. Sometimes not putting the game up for sale until the last few days and sometimes not at all, forcing me to sit at home, or in a seat where you can't see jack all.

5 times the assign button failed to give my dad his ticket and I had to endure last minute queue's at the ticket office for a replacement.

Thats the brunt of it, the rest was about the patronising hermits at the ticket office.
