Beside all the blatant speculation in the papers etc...

Taken from an article on skysports regarding liverpool going in for charlie adam.

"Ongoing interest in Adam, who suits Fenway Sports Group's policy for young, British players, adds to the uncertainty surrounding Raul Meireles.

Despite a promising debut season in the Premier League, it has been speculated that the 28-year-old could be sold due to his age and doubts about his fitness"

LOL LOL LOL

Meirles has been shit every time I've watched him

I wouldnt say that, in fact the times I watched them when they were in the shit early/middle part of the season he was one of the only players to emerge with any credit IMO. Also pops up with a fair few goals.

I would buy him, think he would fit in well alongside Sandro and Modric in a 4-3-3.

definately, the guy was their best player last season

well rounded box to box player who can do just about everything you'd want a CM to do

really don't know how anyone with any sense could think he was shite

Why is it such terrible reporting, there is no real proof that it's not true?

Because it's not reporting, is it? It's speculation masquerading as reporting.
Which is what the football hacks in the tabloids do a fair bit of.

Exactly, so I don't see why this is so terrible. They even state in the article that the Meireles stuff is speculation.

It's reporting speculation.
