I just wanted to say how great it was to see Woody on the pitch again in a Spurs shirt. I'm not alone in saying i genuinely thought he'd never play again for us and it is unbelievably great that he is back to fitness and can play a part in our run in.

He slotted in seamlessly when he came on which just shows the class he is that he can do that after 15 months out and in the last 16 of the champions league against AC Milan.

Hero. So chuffed for him, must have been such a tough time and potentially thinking he might never play again.

When he came on I said to the wife, "Bet Woody scores the winner". I was wrong. Lots of people get things wrong. Not so often are the so f***ing happy when they are wrong. Long may it continue!

I have to admit that I thought Woody was done. But I forgot the cardinal rule of this club, currently, and that is everybody makes a comeback. Glad to see him back.

I honestly hardly realised he was on the pitch.

Which can only be a great thing

With the jubilation can one be realistic tonight? He barely had a touch and his return doesn't erase his injury record.

That said, I'd love to see him come back in the league and help us out in some key matches.

Woody coming on gave me a Woody. I fucking love the guy!

I was actually a little worried, thinking he's gonna be a bit rusty, no match fitness... but it was as if he'd never been away. What a player!

I still dream of a centre back pairing of him and Ledley, fully fit.... what we're missing, hey?

If he can stay healthy him and Gallas at the back would be tough to beat. Hard on Dawson but Gallas has more pace and makes less rash decisions so would choose Gallas over him every time. When King ever gets healthy this central defense is surely the deepest in the world?

Even City and their billions don't have the riches of talent we have in central defense right now. Our 6th central defenseman is Bassong, who when played regularly is very good and would play in most Prem sides has got to be better than most teams 3rd defenseman, that is just out of this world.

Well said. Great to see him back. He did have some work to do when he came, but did it with such composure that it was barely noticeable. I admit that he wasn't severely tested though.

There's no doubting Woody's quality.

If only for the injury record....
