Haven't seen the game, but I suspect our problem stem from have Sissoko & Dier as a 2 in front of the back 4.

I'm not sure we defended brilliantly, we got lucky wolves were not better in the final 3rd, they passed around Aurier and Sanchez with ease, especially in the first half.

There seemed to be a lot of last ditch/body on the line defending, which is more about luck.

I think we gave up the midfield and went strictly for the counter. They had much more control but didn't do enough with it.
Mourinhos plan worked even if the mechanics were a bit iffy

They dug in well today, we got a goal and sat on it untill they equalised and then started to play again to grab the win.

We should have been 2-0 up and that would have made things a lot easier.

Though I hate the exG stat. The game ended with Wolves 0.72 exG Tottenham 0.99 exG.

We both had the same amount of shots on target, and ignoring blocked shots, which normally just means you are shooting at the wrong time. Wolves had one more shot than us.

We beat a team who haven't lost in 11, a team that last season pretty much beat all of the top 6. We defended very well and fought even better. Wolves were not unlucky. They didn't do enough, and they couldn't mark a corner in the last minute of the game.

All of the goals were great technical feats. Since Jose has been in charge we have scored some pretty fantastic goals.

Anybody here happy to travel down to Wolves tomorrow to give them an anatomy lesson? Their fans seem mightily confused about what a hand is.
