I watched the game- he lost it rarely as I recall, and if he did it was in his constant cause to make things happen- a brave player, especially psychologically...

so did I watch the game, so we will have to agree to disagree, but those step overs WTF, and majority of the time went nowhere

I love Winks so I’d rather spend big on a DM than first choice CM. We need a second choice CM though with Dembele going. If KWP isn’t ever gonna get a chance we need a new first choice RB, if Rose isn’t ever going to be back we need a first choice LB.

No point thinking perfect world as you can always argue for improvement here and there. Minimum though I’d say 4 before next season starts, first choice LB, RB, DM and backup CM.

I'm not ready to crown Winks before he can prove he can stick through a full season. We need another damn good CM.

2 new LBs, CM, DM, forward, HG backup GK. 6 would be my ideal as well.

Yeah and then it's likely Llorente, Nkoudou, Janssen, Wanyama, Dembele, Davies, Rose out

That's before we even debate whether we need to be concerned by Alder, possibly Eriksen wanting out AND that's before we debate whether we want players like trippier who I consider not good enough to be out. It's now a huge overhaul.

Hope we can find a sucker during the winter window to take him for a good fee. Bet his value has halved since the WC.

wished the deal included a brucie bonus and Davies chucked in. he had a couple of moments, but why are we ending up with Lloris fart arsing around passing it sideways, when 2 seconds earlier we have a throw-in on the edge of their box.

find me a single match report, players ratings list or anything really that backs up your claim?

I don't want him for the money, because i know how little we are prepared to spend and midfield is where it should go, but that doesn't stop me appreciating not just his talent but his impact as well.

Yeah the backup needs to be a high quality ball playing CM, squad game and all.

I see you're a big Winks fan, what kind of midfielder do you think he is? A water carrier? What's his usp? The Parker pirouette, and burst of acceleration before the square ball? I like him too, just don't think he's proven either as a tackler or a creator.

I'm going by what I saw, as I said we will have to disagree doing stepovers doesn't win games. he has fast enough feet, good strength, over the top everytime he gets touched, and pace. Palace need end product, and he will most probably stay with Palace because he is their hero, one of their own, and knows when fit he will always play.

if we even had a discussion with his reps which I believe we did due to ITK from someone close, I bet 1 of the points that went against was not being a guaranteed starter

If we need to raise funds I’d sell trippier. He’d get a good fee and would be in demand by clubs who don’t watch him every week.

We have Aurier and KWP who can more than cover for him.

Call me a radical thinker, but can't we start by selling players who are actually not playing and who are not home grown?

There are so many spots we need to address before we even consider 60 mil on Zaha.
