I heard on the commentary of the Everton vs West Ham game yesterday that after this weekend's games the slate gets wiped clean for yellow cards, so Wilson is no longer one card away from a suspension. Can anyone verify that?

After the Cup Semi, if Wilson doesn't get booked in that, then he will not be suspended if he picks up his tenth booking in a game later in the season.

11th of April is the last day for it

So Portsmouth in the FA Cup is the last day before 10 bookings doesn't get you a 2 game suspension.

He shouldn't really get booked against Pompey on Sunday though. Even with the defensive injury crisis we have, we should be winning that game comfortably with all the attacking options we have, so no need for him to dive in too often.

he might not even be played if it can be helped as we really dont need him getting 2 bookings before the really big games.

Damn it would suck for Wilson to be booked in this match. Well, if we start with him, if we are ever winning comfortably we should take him straight off, stick Luka in the middle and put On Kranjcar (if Bentley starts).

i think he may go for hudd and luka and bring willy on should it go pear shaped

to be honest and realistic, id rather him play and beat pompey and lose him for 2 games in the league than get knocked out of the cup

the FA cup semi final is the really big game

lose that and we won't play a bigger game this season

if it means fouling a player to get to an FA Cup final, I hope he takes the booking!

exactly TTT

once again there is an absolute gulf between people on here like myself who see wining a trophy as paramount, and can't even begin to see how a chance of 4th can rival the certainty of reaching an FA Cup finalif we beat pompey

this game is the be all and end all of our season ATM

win that then worry about 4th

but win that first

to take pompey lightly is to play a very dangerous game

by all means if wilson's game is being hindered by 9 yellows then Harry needs to talk to him

what's his priority? cos if it isn't winning the game v pompey I'd rather have another player on the pitch

this isn't a criticism of wilson BTW -

my guess is he'll be desperate to get to an FA Cup final - but it#s a matter of clarity

my suspicion is that his injury hindered him more than the 9 yellows v sunderland - but I'm just a punter guessing

No need to play him on sunday, we are plenty strong enough to see off Pompeys 7 players available, and the first 4 fans that turn up.

Let the amnesty pass, and keep him fresh for them lot on Wednesday so he can tear into them like a angry rottweiler.

If wilson can put in another performance like her did against the scum last season then im sure we can get the 3 points. He was immense last season against them down the road and immediately endeared himself to all yids. would love him to be fit for both games but the arsenal game i would want him fit/available for most

It was certainly the most impressive debuts I've seen for Spurs, I think it was the shock that at last, eventually, after years of trying we finally had the tough tackling sarge in the middle - the fact he could also play football as well was even better.

Let him loose on them lot, and we will win.
