Cavani wants Atletico, Werner and Dembele won't move in January. I think we'll pay something between 20-30 million which is fair for a position of desperate need

The general opinion of Real Sociedad fans on Twitter (using a bit of translation) seems to be he is bang average and they'll bite our hands off for £20m... ?
When Modric asked to join Chelsea I told everyone who wanted to hear that he was a bucktoothed nonce who was keeping his position warm for the true heir to Hoddle’s throne, Tommy Carroll.

Who gives an absolute monkeys fart how much he costs? He is the very description of a Mourinho striker, and someone that we desperately need. Let’s just be happy that Levy is actually backing our manager! With Gedson and now Willian Jose it does appear so!

A 50m fee could get us one of the brightest prospects in world football (Dembele, Werner, 2 Halands, etc.), but instead, we're signing this 28-year-old bloke with a 3 games/1 goal career ratio for the same (alleged) price

lol their clubs aren’t selling in Jan and we need a striker NOW.

From Benteke, to Bale, to Willian Jose. Woah it's been an emotional rollercoaster the last 24 hours

And thsi is why id rather wait until January. Then again it isnt a wise decision to wait given i suspect CL would determine a few things like getting in a higher quality player in the summer and stadium rights etc

I’d be shocked if there was any truth at all in the €50m fee. If we were willing to pay anywhere close to that for a stopgap striker we’d have snapped up Piatek at €30m weeks ago. It’ll be far less.
No way... Levy probably bang them a few Bob to lie.

Anyone thinks we are paying 50m for him needs their brains checked. At max 20-30m euros is what I see.

His YouTube compilation looks quite good. I rather ok to see few misses than a glossy compilation which only has good. He looks strong in air and strikes ball left as well as right foot. That’s a good sign.
If he scored 10 or 11 for Sociedad it may not be his cap. Who knows with better players around he could score more.
Interesting stat to look would be his conversion rate

May not be the same luxury signing as a Timo Werner, Cavani or Dybala etc but he is a Mourinho striker and i think its good that we're buying into his system and methods. Might not be the football or style we're accustomed to but if your club is managed by Mourinho you have to buy into it 100% and see where we end up. At the very least he's hopefully competent back up for Kane and thats something we've needed for years.
