Why do we constantly get linked with Sh*te , YouTube can’t make this Brazilian striker look good , you don’t see Liverpool or City go for these players , we need to finally move on and go to the next level , go get Timo Wermer & Grealish . Stop shopping at Pound Land 😂😂
Liverpool literally just signed a player from RB Salzburg.

I don't know that any of the Athletic "Tottenham" journalists are particularly well informed. I'll take Romano's word over theirs any day of the week.

The fact that his club has had to publicly announce that he's been pulled out of their matchday squad due to transfer speculation surely means that we're at least in negotiations. Not sure how much stock I'd put in one Athletic writer's reporting especially with credible reports to the contrary floating around.

Forgetting the price for a second (which seems to me just to be a random guess from one of the outlets reporting it) he does seem to fit the bill for what we’re missing. The lack of a true 9 really is giving us problems tactically. This dude would seem to solve a few problems for us. Also think we’ve been spoiled with Kane the last 5 years. A 1 in 3 return consistently in a top 5 league is more than respectable. Think this would be a good pick up.

Have you seen him play? He looks poor on YouTube (don't shoot me only going by vids), is he actually decent?

If anyone has info please share regarding what he is like
As a swede I've watched a few games as I'm interested in how Alexander Isak is doing and Willian José is keeping him out of the starting eleven for a reason.

He's a big, strong and technical striker. Someone earlier in the thread compared him to a more technical Giroud and I think that's an accurate comparison and he'd provide good link-up play and a physical threat in the box. He's also a decent finisher.

Out of all the names we've been linked to I think he's the one that would fit in the most.

Don't buy this at anywhere near the numbers quoted. Probably could go get a you Championship striker for less who wouldn't need to settle into a new culture and would have resale. Surely!?

He’s another versatile forward like Son and Lucas. I really don’t see the point. We need a number 9 to challenge Kane, play alongside Kane and fill in when he’s injured (which is pretty fucking regularly) and should be looking at a much higher calibre player than this guy.
To be fair if he’s 6,2 he’ll do a better job up top than sonny and Lucas and we need a top quality AM so if he can play in both then I think that’s great, sounds like a sensible move

6 months ago we were signing one of the best strikers in world football, now we are supposedly signing a striker I've never heard of for nearly the same sum of money. Only spurs

This was originally broken in El Diario Vasco on Monday. They are THE big sports paper in the Basque country and have connections in all the big Basque clubs.

Based on that I think this has legs. Reputable Swedish papers are also working on the story since it effects Alexander Isak and they don't have anything better to do right now.
