Next years AFCON hardly helps his case for a big move now either. Still, he opted to play for Ivory Coast over England and sign a big contract with Crystal Palace, which has effectively priced him out of a move to a big club. I think it’s safe to say his career has been a bit misguided.

Throwing a hissy fit at Palace now - if he acts like he did in the summer - would be a stupid thing to do.

Quality and form have to be taken into consideration!

Same old Levy bashing! Boring!

As I've said before that signing Jose which is not a cheap manger to sign confirms his ambition and whilst he may not sign players you want I'm sure he will do all to keep top 4 a possibility.
What do you think that DL will do to keep top 4 a possibility? I'm intrigued.

Shows a lack of ambition from him. I bet we didn’t once bonuses were added on. Besides the way we reward players with new contracts he would soon of been getting even more money, which seems to be his main driver.

Ive never fancied him anyway, always thought he’d drive us mad watching him. In fact I only want him now for the first time because of the bad situation the squad is in.
He's a palace fan born and raised and only left palace to join UTD. To label him as purely money motivated is extremely unfair. He's been loyal to Palace and now fancies something different.

I'd rather not sign him as he lacks the end product we need but he is a decent player just not £80m worth.

I thought he was an Arsenal fan.

He wanted the big wages and also to seem loyal to the palace fans by signing a new five-year contract. He clearly thought a club would stump up the cash that Palace then demanded for him, little did he know he isn't as good as he clearly thinks he is, which is why no club is interested in paying his valuation.

He's like the constant Emile Heskey transfer rumours that used to give me nightmares in the 90's.

I thought that the tournament was moved to the summer...Having checked, it was, but Cameroon FA have switched it back to Jan and first week in Feb.

Liverpool have Mane, Salah and Keita who'll probably be involved.

We have Aurier. Hooray. ?

I thought he was an Arsenal fan.

My best mates are all palace fans. When he was sold to UTD he came back at any opportunity to an incredible amount of fan events and charity things at Palace. He brought his boots, kit and signed pictures without having any club obligation. In the same way you say Zaha is an Arsenal fan, Arsenal say Kane is an Arsenal fan.
