Wilfried Zaha

Couple additional things that could be a factor are how Sarri was able to develop Dries Mertens for Napoli, he could be able to do the same for Zaha. Additionally, we saw the exact same player type and position turn us down last year in Balde Keita so it isn't a given that Poch can just convince anyone of the project.
Apart from the fact it's been mentioned how much Zaha 'likes' what Poch offers.

It feels very much as if he is the backup option. From all reports Poch likes him a lot but I think Martial is option 1 and we’ll hold out until then resulting in him going to Chelsea.

Well I hope not, because that would be a dumb strategy.

Trying to be neutral, and think who would I choose but I'm struggling as I f'ing hate chelsea!

US
CL
Better training ground
Better stadium
Consistency with manager, staff and players

Them
More recent trophies success
Potentially a decent manager
They didn't piss him off before with a shite salary offer

Salaries, maybe they will pay more but we've raised our ceiling these days.

Silence, gentlemen! Steve "The smegma-eating twazzock Messiah" Nicol has spoken...

“I don’t think he’s going anywhere, because I don’t think he would want to go to Spurs.”

Fair, but we are talking about a part-English PL based player here, I'd argue Poch would have more chance of convincing him than Keita Balde.

Chelsea have two target men and are looking at Higuain, no guarantee's Zaha plays as a centre forward.

Just playing devils advocate is all as I think there are plenty of reasons on both sides.

Aside from higher wages etc, i wouldn't be surprised if he chose Chelsea, with Hazard likely out the door he will be a guarantied starter there, here he would have to fight for his place once Son is back. If Grealish comes in, we will be over stocked for AM/WF's, essentially it will be 6 players fighting for 2 spots, assuming Eriksen will be a guarantied starter. Even if you discount Grealish, thats still 5 players fighting for two spots, and we all know Poch loves Alli leaving 4 players fighting for 1 spot. I realise there will be rotation, but even so, it might not be as attractive where as if you go to Chelsea you might well be given the LWF position from the get go. Be interesting how this plays out.

No doubt, I wouldn't put money on it either way.

One thing that worries me most - Chelsea are looking to replace (probably) we are looking to add. I know which one probably pushes harder...

Dont forget he re-joined Palace from Utd so he isn't all about sitting on the bench collecting trophies or higher wages (I know he still gets a lot at Palace). I think this guy has a good head on his shoulders which is why I think there's a good chance he joins us.
