Zaha is far more dynamic than either of those players mentioned, a fair bit younger and would probably offer more with less pressure of having to carry those around him.

Terrible examples to use.
Just saying a lot of people used the same rhetoric about Siggurdson around here last year that they're now using for Zaha.

Siggurdson also scored more goals for Swansea in his last 2 seasons than Zaha in his previous 2 has so dynamic can have plenty of meanings.

The stat about how well Palace do with Zaha in the team and without him was pretty telling.

There really isn't much of an argument here, Zaha is a far better player than those two mentioned.

He has plenty of experience of not being the focal point of a team though. When he first went back to Palace he was used as a winger, his previous position, it's only as his influence grew that he was moved to a more focal position.
All I'm saying is I'm not fully sold that Zaha would be a worthy investment of 50mil based off the rhetoric that Palace were shit without him and he kept them up. @Vinny_Sammways_left_peg

We would not pay up for Gylfi and we won’t pay up for Zaha, although we had our chance two summers ago but we low balled & low balled late as well just to properly piss palace off. It is getting very close to summer transfer window dispair time, but hey that’s how we roll !

That's fair enough, he may or may not prove to be a good signing but in some respects there's more risk of signing a 'Malcom' or any other player with massive potential from another league.

I agree, I'm not really a big fan of his, especially at 50/60 mil. I would be happy with Martial but not so much zaha, he wouldn't get into my starting 11 which is what you would expect from a player costing that much.

Zaha is one of those players that terrifies defences, but the output is inconsistent. I do genuinely think he would thrive in a team with greater quality. For Palace teams double or triple up on him but teams couldn't afford to do that against us.

Sterling could be seen in a similar light, but look at how he did at Man City last season, over 20 goals and over 10 assists.

Getting a Wanyama like vibe from this thread. I think he'd be superb for us. Would probably still pick Martial but I'd be excited by this move for sure.

Read that Zaha has left Palace's training camp in the Norway to go back to London for "family issues".

So looking around online it seems Dortmund, Chelsea, Liverpool and Everton fans think their club is in for Zaha. Strange for a player that is supposedly not on the market.

Wonder if this player is the one that we are not the only club that thinks they have an agreement on (goat info).

Liverpool fans think they are buying everyone always so you can ignore that lot... Everyone if true they are in for Malcom they're not going after Zaha. Dortmund maybe but also he would be incredibly expensive by their standards. Their record buy is only €30m.

Chelsea if they are really going to sell Hazard then I could definitely see Zaha being on their short list of targets and his high wages would be no issue for them. Especially if Martial is also a no go for them from ManU.

Liverpool lol, how many attackers do they need FFS!

We know poch loves Zaha, and if Levy is indeed backing him big time this window he may just end up with us.

Everton and Dortmund are no chance if we are indeed trying for him.

Itk that Anthony Martial is off the menu so we all jump over to this thread, I see how it works.
