Why? I'd still keep Kranjcar on the bench at the moment. Then for the rest of the season we have 4 decent alternative attacking options in Kranjcar, Lennon, Defoe and Saha if everyones fit.

In the current 4-3-3, Kranjcar should be cover for Modric and VDV.

I think he can only play on the left, as his game is cutting inside, shooting/crossing/playing one twos. On the right he cuts in on to his weaker foot, ruling out the shooting and crossing, and most passes go sideways or backways.

Bale is on the left so Niko doesn't get a look in I'm afraid. I like him as a player, but unless Bale gets injured he isn't going to play because I'm not confident he plays well as a central or right sided midfielder/forward

Good option, not good enough to start regularly for us. Some great moments, but all too rare.
We need better if we are to progress. Better options from the bench. More explosive options. Hoilett and Lennon coming from the bench would have he same impact Defoe has. ie, not good enough to start, but a fantastic game changing option from the bench. Kranjcar doesnt offer as much of this.

Always been a fan but every time he has come into the team recently he has looked way of the pace. Makes me think we should have kept Piennar. He is not as good but he does have pace and would have been the most like to replacement for Lennon.

To be fair to James our current wide forwards are pretty shit. The sooner we drop Bale and VdV the better I say.

I thought he looked good when he first joined and he has put in a couple of tidy performances for us this season.

But since he joined we have improved a lot and he quickly went from 1st starter to someone struggling to get on the pitch.

We look dangerous when we have two fast wingers and Modric, Parker and VDV on the pitch. Our backup needs to match those attributes.

We'll hopefully have a clearout in the summer including Kranjcar, Bentley, Dos Santos and Pienaar. If we can't find a replacement hopefully Townsend can get the place. He's not as good as Kranjcar but more suited to our play.

Good technical player but like others have said way to slow for this league. Kranjcar would be more suited to Italian Football.

We should sell over seas.

The wide forward position doesn't do his hair justice, he needs to play in a more central position where visibility of his beautiful flowing locks are maximized.
