Those really believe Lucas is at risk of being sold is very strange to comprehend. Maybe, there is a reason behind his name being put forward by those posters. My opinion I just cannot see it myself. Why on earth would JM sell pace, goals, work-rate, good team ethic attitude like Lucas for? I would be beyond shocked if this happens. And he has gone on record about how he rates Lucas, and needing his type of pace etc, and more of the same in his team.
I think people feel that if a player is not up to our standards anymore we sell! What we should be doing is upgrading and having the original player as squad option.

Dier being linked away today, how much do you think we could get for him. I'd say around £50m is a fair price, but I reckon we won't get an offer exceeding £40m.

I doubt anyone will pay over 30m. He has to go back to CB, but isn't playing there enough. I imagine any renewal of contract from our side will make it clear he will only be back up CB.

Can't see him doing a Rose though, will want to play.

I think for a team who doesn’t play a high defensive line and doesn’t want him to play out from the back too much he’d be a superb CB. We really should have sold when Jose wanted him at United, though. Such an opportunity missed.

He's actually good on the ball for a CB. When given a run he can actually play the ball around ok. For a CM in our system he is lacking. A team live Everton should be trying their hardest to sign him.

Think we might see Dier and Sissoko moved on and another attempt to give Wanyama away.

Would love if we cashed in on Dele and Sissoko

You could have a point, after seeing Dele's performances the last few months, you've got to imagine Jose is weighing up whether or not to keep him.

Dele's a strange one, he became a first team regular in his late teens and for a couple of seasons could, without exaggeration, have got into almost any starting XI in Europe.

He's now approaching 24, and while it's obvious he's still a quality player, he no longer looks like the outstanding future-world-class talent he once did. Whether that's down to peaking too early or perhaps just becoming complacent and resting on his laurels, who knows, but there are other English players of a similar age in similar positions who seem to very much still be on an upward trajectory while Dele goes the other way - Maddison, Grealish, Sterling to name a few. The fact Maddison and Grealish have a total of 1 England cap between them baffles me, but I imagine that will change quite soon.

Hopefully Dele can turn it around, and he certainly looked like he was going to during Jose's first few weeks here, but if he can't apply himself and push on to the next level then he's still an asset with a big sell-on value, and I wouldn't put it past Jose to cash in.

No future - must be sold:
Rose
Wanyama
Lamela

End-of-the-road in sight:
Vertonghen
Lloris (we have to go all-out for Ajax' André Onana this summer)

Upgradable- sell at the right price:
Aurier
Walker-Peters
Gazzaniga
Dier - might try as a central defender

We need to beef up the squad and look to replace a few stalwarts of the past decade. Plenty of activity on the transfermarket required.

I would like to cash out on Dele and use the monies received to buy Grealish.

Just think Dele is becoming too one dimensional and too incompatible to play in multiple systems. Not sure if it is complacency, maybe he has just been found out by opposition teams. Don't get me wrong, Dele's goal scoring instincts are amazing. But when he is not scoring goals or being feed by midfielders to create chances, he doesnt influence the game. I also think he isnt a great passer and lacks pace when dribbling.

Meanwhile i'm super impressed by Grealish. For a small guy he is surprising strong on the ball and when he does get fouled, he gets up and gets on with the game. There is a Hazard like quality about him. Also he can play in multiple positions - centre midfield or further forward as an attacking midfielder - he has a great turn of pace. Very creative with his passing and can hit a dead ball. Would be a perfect Eriksen replacement.

50 50 on Ndombele I reckon. Once you lose the trust of the manager or any manager it is hard to get it back. We saw it with Poch (Townsend, Bentaleb) and we are seeing it now. He doesn't seem to be able to provoke a reaction out of him at the moment. Hopefully it will click with the player but at the moment it isn't looking like it.

A few people have said the same. I haven't looked into it so genuinely asking.

If Villa get relegated then surely Grealish is likely to want to leave. Why has the ship sailed?

- We treated him and his club with zero respect during that transfer saga, there were further news reports yesterday to corroborate this. Grealish loves Villa and I doubt the whole episode warmed him to us in any way
- Most big PL clubs and other European big boys will want him, he will be spoilt for choice
- The likes of Chelsea, United, City, Barcelona, Real Madrid will all be more than happy to outbid us, especially United who love hurling money at their problems and may well have Pochettino at the helm by then, who is a Grealish fan
- Levy isn't going to drop the £60m+ required to get him

We could've got him for £15-20mil, even if they get relegated he's going to cost £60mil + and i can't see us paying that.
