Unless ENIC completely change their MO which seems unlikely, we are presumably going to need to raise a decent amount in outgoings if we are going to continue to reshape the squad.

I can't see any of the players mentioned so far bringing in very much at all, with the possible exceptions of Dier and Lucas. Given how much Mourinho has played those two, I suspect he'll be open to selling the former but not the latter.

I can see Foyth wanting to move on if he doesn't get a decent chance (which I think is unlikely under Mourinho). Don't like the idea but that's how I think it might pan out. The other obvious candidates are Rose, Wanyama, Vertonghen and possibly Dier. Anyone else probably depends on incomings.

Yeah Jose doesnt play any youngsters, apart from all the youngsters.

Lucas will stay. Dier may stay. Depends how it goes between now and then.

Wanyama, Rose, Jan. All in positions where they should go or may go in the case of Jan.

Lamela is also in a precarious position. He may be used as a makeweight in a transfer deal like we tried to do in January.

Foyth is likely to be moved on too.

Depending on who comes in we could expect to see loan deals for Parrott and Skipp.

This plus Sissoko potentially.

Agree on Lamela, he seems well liked by the players and manager(s) but his injury record goes against him big time. We need someone more regularly available for sure.

Can't help but feel disappointed about Foyth's situation. Very young for his position, lots of potential and ability. For me he needs a season or two of football to develop that composure and timing. I still have hopes he may not be gone completely.

I'd be a bit pissed if thats the case again. Our profit alone by reaching the CL final must have been enough to cover most of the expenses and if we are one bit of ambitious we need to be able to spend a bit. Otherwise we will probably struggle to reach the CL spots and so we find ourselves in a non lucrative position to sell the stadium rights.

Rose, Wanyama, Verts are probably top of the leaving rest with a few who need to prove themselves to Jose.

I would prepare yourself to be a bit pissed off

Wanyama, Rose, KWP, Lamela (with someone like McNeil coming in to replace him), Vertonghen will leave on a free , potentially Sissoko and I can see Foyth agitating for a move.

I agree. I bloody love Lamela. When he's fit he's such an asset to the team. Unfortunately that just doesn't happen often enough. He plays a couple of games, then he's out again. Such a shame.

I don't massively rate Foyth, personally, but he's never really been given a chance to show what he can do with a run of games. I don't think he's going to get that with us at this point - He will move on - Likely destinations Spain or Italy, I suppose. Someone like AC Milan maybe.

Definitely Kane.

I know your post Is humorous but we do need to look seriously at our so called star players. Along with Vertonghen Rose Dier etc many of us are frustrated by Alli and Son. Alli seems to be picking up after a poor end last season and start to this season. But his flicks and missed opportunities have cost us dear. If he doesn’t have to think he is a star but give him a second to think and it usually ends in moans. Son fails to pass to players who are in a better position than him and dribbles down blind alleys and we lose momentum. He to me is our biggest problem up front.

When Poch said we have to be brave I think he was talking about Moving on these type of players in order for us to go to the next level. Would either of these two players get into city or Liverpool’s first team?

Personally I would keep Alli if he improves under Jose. Son I would move on but I cannot see levy giving up on all that South Korean Won.

However we do need to match Liverpool and City for goal return from our opportunities.

I get the Foyth point of view. We haven't seen a huge amount of him for one and when he has played he's gone from sublime to reckless fairly easily at times. I put this down to his age though.

I still think what he has got in his locker makes him an asset but genuinely think he needs football. I agree with your view as well, whether it's just speculation or not - he seemed either out of JM's plans or to be angling for a move, so i think a permanent shift is more likely.

Wanyama, Rose, Vertonghen and Sissoko are the obvious ones as long as we get a suitable offer.

Jose wanted Dier when he was at Utd. He has over half a season to decide if there is a player there still. My guess is he will stay.

Wow, you lost me there. After Kane, hes been best goal goal threat for several seasons, yes he blows hot and cold, but to think we should move him on is beyond me.
Lucas, I could see, as he would command a very decent price, and with everyone fit, we will not be short in that area and the money raised from him could be used to bolster more pressing areas. I like him, but feel his overall contribution can be matched by other players in his position and I think the Bergwijn signing puts more pressure on his long term opportunities.

I didn’t say he wasn’t a good player but he isn’t a team player and we miss out on scoring opportunities because he fails to pass and 95% of his dribbles end in him losing the ball.

It is about making us better and we have to make hard choices to take us to the next level. I go back to what Poch said on taking the club to the next level.

Outs:
Wanyama
Lamela
Vertonghen
Dier

Loan to perm:
Rose
KWP
CCV

Maybe sells:
Aurier
Sissoko (depending on recovery)

Fresh loans:
Foyth (Loan)
Skipp (Loan)

Think we'll buy:
Striker such as Edouard at Celtic
Soumare
Eze
McNeil
Ferguson
Cancelo
O'Connell
LB such as Jamal.L at Norwich
GK some unknown English 3rd choice keeper

BUt that's 9 players in - which, is a lot.

Certainties: Jan, Wanyama, Rose

Likelies: Sissoko, Dier, KWP

Possibly: Foyth (or loan), Aurier, Lamela, Skipp (or loan)

A fairly predictable list really. I can't see any shock sales

Hopefully Rose has a blinding second half of the season for Newcastle and secures a move there.

As per usual I suspect we will be asking too much for our players then not be able to bring anyone in until the end of the window. Be prepared for us kicking off the season without important first XI positions remedied.

I myself don't believe that Sissoko will be sold as he gives a different problem to the opposition to our other players .
As for Dier he I believe must move to centre back if he wants to stay as of this moment his pace in midfield is being exposed .
At centre back you can be successful without being the fastest heading ability and being strong counts for a lot .
Some say that speed is needed to be a centre back but you can count the speedy centre backs in the premiership on one hand .
Most just lumber about but put their body on the line .

Gedson was bought to replace him.

They changed their m.o last summer mate.
