Can't be asked to sign up, can someone sum up what it says please.
It'll likely be the same lazy bollocks Ian Wright was mumbling about yesterday. "Ooh, if Spurs don't renew their contracts, they could leave on a free..." like no other club has, or has ever had this problem, ever.

Never thought I'd say this, but bring back Merson's predictions.

Charlie Nicholas is doing it now instead, and to say he is absolutely dreadful is putting it mildly.

He's a fucking idiot.

You're not missing much. A Times journo's probably been for liquid lunch with some prominent football agents and they've taken the opportunity to try to ramp up the pressure on all the PL clubs to increase players' wages to avoid them running down their contracts. There's nothing particularly insightful in the article. As far as Spurs are concerned, we already know that the players mentioned (Jan, Toby, Christian, Eric, and Danny) are within 2 years of the end of their contracts and seem to have decided that it's worth taking their chances as free agents when their existing contracts expire. The article portrays it as a specific problem for Spurs, but I'm sure that the owners of all the clubs are having to come to terms with this sort of issue from their star players.

The absolute guff he's come off with in this weeks predictions along with his comments is truly staggering, bigging Emery and Arsenal up something shocking, embarrassing. His comments on Spurs are just weird ("I think there are issues at Tottenham, but it is not the manager's making. It's between the players and owners, but I see problems here for Tottenham.") wtf? as are his comments on Maguires United debut, but yet Pepe (who hasn't kicked a ball) will seemingly be great for Arsenal....twat.

I hate to break it to ya, but Ramsey didn't want to leave, it was Ar5ena1 that wouldn't give him a contract. Different situation entirely.
Arsenal withdrew the contract offer after he rejected it, basically they accepted he wanted to go and decided to rebuild without him rather than waste any more energy on him is my understand of it.

Lo Celso has gone so under the radar. I think it’s pretty obvious he is seen by the club as Eriksen replacement. The fact we were going for Dybala and not Fernandes shows that. Yet I’ve not heard one pundit mention this they really are so clueless. Trust me if he plays well against City it’s all you’ll hear lol.

Merson must have bought in a little bag into work, to share, just before they did the predictions. “Try this Charlie, it helps you see into the future”

We were going for Dybala as first choice Eriksen replacement, then maybe Fernandes until the price got stupid. Lo Celso was coming whether Eriksen stayed or not, so isn't a replacement as such. His best position is CM but he could play at 10 if necessary.

Ex Arsenal players who are now pundits plucking theories out of the air with no substance at all who would have thought such a thing could happen .As long as they can say something that they would like to happen rather than something that would actually happen then they are happy its the actions of simpletons . Of course their comments on Arsenal are exactly the same namely what they would like to happen rather than any facts to back up their theories . Quite sad really and to think they get paid to make up stories with no substance in the real world.
Most pundits are the same their ideas are based on what they would like to happen hence the spurs are falling to pieces crap.

It's all about Spurs till the last para they have to admit it isn't:

"However, Eriksen has a strong hand. Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard entered the final year of their deals and forced Chelsea to sell them to Real Madrid. Mesut Özil, Alexis Sánchez and Aaron Ramsey exploited Arsenal by running down their deals into the final year — Özil securing a big pay rise, Sánchez and Ramsey securing moves away."

This has been coming and to be honest I'm surprised it hasn't already happened at a much larger scale. The best players won't accept long contract extensions and the summer transfer window will become a lot more like the Free Agency period in American sports.

The stadium and sponsorships will be our main source of income in the future, not transfer fees. The completion couldn't have happened at a better time.

"Would Pochettino consider his position if Spurs are continually selling their best players??"

a) Continually??? Remind me who we have sold, at the top of their game, in the last 5 years...
b) If a player wants to leave, there's sweet FA we can really do about it. Even less so when their contract is winding down.
Word is that Eriksen wants a complete change of scenery. There's been no word of it being to go somewhere just to win trophies, although a move to Barca or Real pretty much ensures that anyway.
c) Not even a mention of the Lo Celso signing
