It's fun for other fans to watch Spurs invariably muck things up at the worst moment, now we're just generally shit we don't provide any entertainment which is probably why it's quiet.

TBF I know plenty of non rival football fans (i.e. not Gooners, Chavs, Spam) who genuinely just don't give a toss about us. Not actively like or dislike. Just completely ambivalent. "Who do you support?" "Spurs". "Oh". Just nothing.

That’s because everyone is shit.

City are having their worst season in years. Chelsea aren’t challenging and are massively inconsistent. Man Utd are worse than us. Arsenal are battling for second for the third season running and are heading for yet another trophyless season. Even Liverpool, who have been heads and shoulders above everyone this season, have been knocked out the CL and lost a final in the space of a week.

There are maybe 3 teams that can be happy with how their season is going - Newcastle, Forest and possibly Fulham. Even Bournemouth who have apparently been outstanding are 10th. And Liverpool will of course be smiling come the end of the season.

So yeah, everyone is a bit shit so their fans can’t say too much cos they’ll have to accept that they’ve been shit too. No coincidence for me that the PL has been tough to watch the last season or 2… We need to get back to 70’s and 80’s football with bundles of errors and shiteness and shitty pitches where a shot from 3 yards out gets caught in mud on the goal line while the goalie is having a fag next to the goal.

Make PL Great Again.

"while the goalie is having a fag next to the goal". The next best thing is watching international football - this pretty much summed up Donnarumma's contribution to the Germany v Italy international...

Apologies for the dodgy Google translations from https://community.eintracht.de/forum

It's Tottenham.
We still have a score to settle.
Based on their squad value, you have to rate them stronger than us,
but it's the Europa League, and without Kane, they're not as well-staffed.

One thing is certain: Spurs cannot afford a performance like the one they had this weekend. Otherwise, the quarterfinals could very quickly be decided in the first leg, and that's it for us. So I really hope the game against Bremen was another timely warning shot.

Tottenham is apparently pressing high and has its best players more in attack.
It will depend on quick, well-played counterattacks
(would have been a good match for Knauff,
well, if he and we are lucky, Tottenham will have to attack in the return leg as well).
I am quite optimistic and say that we will see the cheerful EuroDiva again tomorrow.
Tip: 1:2

Eintracht needs to try to be strong defensively first. Close down spaces, and then, away at Tottenham, I would focus on transition play (through our speedy players Bahoya, Brown, or Ekitikè). We don't have to dominate the game there. Even though Spurs have fallen short of their expectations in the Premier League so far, they still have a very good team. A performance like that in Bremen, and they'll suffer a debacle there. But I'm convinced Eintracht will put in a good performance. I hope we get a good first-leg result.
Tip: 1-1

We win 1:3

Tottenham seem a little unsure about what to expect... they're in the same situation as us. They're hoping for big, exciting games, pointing to a 3-0 win against Dortmund, but somehow can't seem to grasp either themselves or their opponents.

In view of the investor and the current situation, there is rather dissatisfaction, reports Paolo Hewitt ... but be careful, in principle there is quality there.

I don't think anyone doubts that. Sure, you have hope, simply because things aren't going so well for them and their coach is a lame duck, but their squad value speaks volumes. If they're really motivated, we'll probably go under there.
