I don't think you can compare SAF and Pep. When the manager role existed it was the key job at a football club. Nothing even came close in terms of importance to a clubs success. Head coach is a joke.

Happened upon this video on threads. Spurs supporters throwing rubbish at Cole Palmer and chanting “you’ve got no chin.”

Unsurprisingly, this is giving many people a bad impression of the Spurs supporters.

Disgraceful behaviour from a bunch of morons, who I don't wish to be associated with as a Spurs supporter or in any other capacity. I don't know how a young player like Palmer doesn't respond, so well done to him for ignoring them and showing them what a talented player he is.

The rubbish is uncalled for but there are FAR more offensive things that fans have chanted especially Chelsea ones! Just sounds like a few drunk idiots not a whole section of the crowd.

I was watching this in the pub and while I usually give these things a bit of an old man 'tut' and disapproving sigh, this one actually annoyed me. Fucking Idiots. Sorry if it was you, but grow the fuck up.

EDIT - not the chanting, you expect that, but throwing shit on the field is just pointless.

The got no chin chant is funny.

Chucking litter is disappointing. Thought we were better than that.
I’m not going to excuse it, but the whole Tifo thing didn’t work, we just had sodden great big bits of paper draped on our seats that fell to pieces when you tried to pick them up. Little wonder some of the young rascals chucked them.

"We need them to have an off night and us to be on it to stand a chance of getting anything here.

If they turn up then it could be a sore one. They are rapid middle to front and very good at moving the ball forward at pace. Tav vs Son, and Propper vs Solanke feels like a bit of a mismatch. They are a far superior side, but are just going through a rough patch. Stranger things have happened though.
3-0 Rangers!"

"Essentially a free hit this one. Loose nothing by not winning. Could be a long night if we are not careful"

"Folk need to calm down. Spurs are miles ahead of us, regardless of their inconsistency. We have had a few decent performances recently, but it's been against Ross County and Killie. Their bad performances have been against teams that would scud us. Our upturn in performances have been a result of movement from Danilo, Igamane and Hagi. 2 of them are not In the European squad. We will score, maybe have a few chances, but their quality will shine through in the end and the game will be done and dusted by the hour mark."

"They are a level above us. They might be bad in the prem the now but let’s face it, every prem team are a level above Rangers.
Liverpool were sitting 8th or 9th I’m sure when they beat us 7-1. Let’s not get too ahead of our self here. I am expecting a loss tomorrow night and not one thing tomorrow will change my mind. If we get anything except a loss, I’ll happily hold my hands up and take it on the chin.
As for coefficient points, I don’t think any one of our players will care less. Confidence shouldn’t be an issue in this team, no matter who you are playing. Prize Money yeah the extra 700,000? For a win would be great but again it’s not season defying money"

"Quietly confident about tonight. Only concern is what team Clement puts out at the start. Must have one eye on Sunday. Take a draw and no injuries right now tbh. But. Stuff that. 3-2 win and all in good shape."

"Just seen the Spurs manager’s presser on Sky Sports. Ange really is a fat disgusting slob."

"Ram an enormous Vegemite sannie down the fat turds throat, Rangers :))"

"Send Fat Angina back down to London to get his jotters Rangers!"

so what are our opponents saying then

They seem mixed on The Bear Pit. Some are counting it as a free hit, they all hate Ange, quite a few predicting 2-1 to them, a few wary of which spurs turns up, a few thinking that Palace, Ipswich and Fulham would tonk them so our inconsistency is irrelevant.

This made me chuckle...

"
Into them, we've nothing to fear.

Let's hope Postecoglou and Herman Munster in nets get a firey Ibrox reception tonight.

No Surrender"

As you'd expect, with the exception of gratuitous jibes at Fraser and Ange, and a nod to Deki for giving his shirt to a young Rangers fan, most of the commentary in the Rangers forum is about how good they were, rather than how poor we were. However, in order to big up their achievement, it's possible that they may just have exaggerated slightly when it comes to our squad...
