Yep. Spot on. Not enough players from the local areas is a big reason. Just my opinionI don't like these lot still obviously but this fixture just doesn't seem to have as much intensity anymore. I don't know if its because they've become an average side again or due to the ground moves etc. but I just don't find myself as bothered as I did a few years ago.
This is the best thing you have ever written on this forumnot for me I still hate them with a passion. one of the games I look forward to all season.
once the passion goes its over for football !
Although I go back a long way, first game was in 1964, I hadn't realised that they had a + 34 win ratio over us. Time to do something about that. Let's do the north London slaaaaaags! 2-1 to the mighty HammersSpurs have beaten us 101 times in all competitions, while we've won 67 & drawn 55. After a dismal run in the 2000's we've picked it up in the last four seasons winning 3, drawing 3 & losing 2 in the league.
100% this. The game plan writes itselfWe should be David Moyesing the hell out of this lot, it works against them.
*suprsDid someone edit it for typos? I can’t believe how, how ‘normal’ it sounded
First time i have heard Haringey referred to as PoshKUMB
- I'm going with 4 goals scored. Who scores them & when I have no idea but there will be 4 goals scored.
- Easy away win.
Three Point Lane- You can never predict the outcome of this one, with any degree of confidence. Such is the rivalry between the two teams. It is, as they say, one of those games, where all form, go's out of the window
Yep. Spot on. Not enough players from the local areas is a big reason. Just my opinion- Agreed. Those Upton Park/White Hart Lane games between 2012-2016 were legendary from a fan point of view. Bales screamer, Maiga's header, Dier's last min goal, Ravels solo goal, Micky's header to deny them top spot. Some went our way, others didn't but the atmospheres were always incredible & the hatred was there.
Seems to have died down a touch nowadays
This is the best thing you have ever written on this forum- Generally always a good exciting game and I’m much bothered about it.
- There is more on it because it’s a London derby and because their fans are mostly insufferable, but even Arsenal have taken their mantle as north London’s biggest dickheads in recent years
- Completely agree, nowhere near the level it was back at WHL and UP, its just... different
- spurs are a bit ****
if we get the first goal we are coming away with a least a point, probably all 3- You just never know what will happen with this one. All form and all.logic, simply just go's out the window. It is impossible to predict
- Spurs will always be the team i want us to beat more than any other, especially if we can do it by actually being better than them on the pitch
Strangely, i didn't get that as much satisfaction from beating them away last year as I usually do, due to the manner in which we played in the first half- With the exception of the Liverpool game I think I’ve predicted we’d get something out of every game we’ve played in so far this campaign, ever the optimist. However, I don’t fancy us at all for this one
- If Jules really did watch us play a lot of games last season he’ll know the blueprint to get something against this mob. His predecessor got it spot on at their gaff in the 2023/24 season. Will Jules? Or will he be naive?
- Should Jules be the latter I think this lot will beat us by at least 3 goals. The likes of Son and co. will be licking their lips facing our high line. It’ll play right into their hands. Sadly that’s what I sense will happen too, but I hope Jules proves me wrong.

But as Brighton proved last weekend, approach the game in the right way and the posh boys from Haringey will roll over for you.
East, East, East London!- Comfortable win for Suprs..
Or it could go Supersy and a comfortable win for us..
Who knows... ? COYI- If the fat Greek-Australian Turkish waiter starts a suicidal midfield like Maddison-Bentancur-Kulusevski again, we have a fair chance
100% this. The game plan writes itself- lopetegui is a far superior tactician to ange and will take no issue with setting up to cynically exploit their vulnerabilities
- Just hoping we make a game of it against them
Reckon nick a draw- The thing is with Spurs you’re never out of it as they fold
- Johnson has scored in has last 7 games, bang in form
- I shall put Johnson in my fantasy team this week El brooko. That will stop the ****er scoring
- As others have already mentioned, I think this match is going to be very difficult to call. Two teams that can be both brilliant or disastrous, with no level of consistency, going head to head. I bet both managers would take a draw right now if they could
- If one team wins convincingly, the other manager is almost certain to head to the top of the sack race. This could be a very decisive game for both managers.
- Deep down, I fear for us. Spurs at home can be devastating and I think their pace and directness will hurt us. Given our propensity for starting slowly, I reckon it could be 3-0 by half time followed by a spirited comeback that sees us nick a goal back but ultimately fail to get anything
- Postecogluu the way he sets up . Should play into our hands . Like last season. if we weather the early storm. the gaps will open up and there's no better front 3 to exploit it than pacqueta kudus and bowen
- After what happened at Brighton I fear for us a little.
I'd take a draw right now.- Oh come on, everybody knows its our cup final.
- My least favourite match of the year. Funniest thing is they can’t admit they hate us as much as we hate them. They still believe they are only in direct competition with Arsenal and Chelsea in London

None of the fuckers are from East London these days and think the Bow Bells are a womens hockey team. They want to be known as the double ‘ard salt of the earth cockney cheeky chaps. They hate that all the other London clubs can see through their bollocks.
I was quite shocked to see one of the cave men use the word "propensity", and correctly too!Did someone edit it for typos? I can’t believe how, how ‘normal’ it sounded
I don’t think it’s in Ange’s makeup to take a draw against anyone let alone these ***** at home when we’re desperate for 3 points.. I bet both managers would take a draw right now if they could

Nah, they are all hardmen, like James Cordon and Russell Brand. They want to be known as the double ‘ard salt of the earth cockney cheeky chaps. They hate that all the other London clubs can see through their bollocks.
