  • To all the Sp**s fans out there, well done on helping stop Arsenal winning a trophy (guess 3 Arsenal championships basically won on your ground would be a little much!) but remember...
    No proper cup since 1991.
    No league title since 1961.
...so maybe stick this defeat in your trophy cabinet to be fair, certainly have the room
  • They really are ****. Those players are not up to par. Son, Kulu is back to being ****, Maddison is injured 50% of the time... Still think Ange is a good coach but I think the honeymoon phase is well and truly over
  • Dear Pathetic Spud Voyeurs,
I understand that the overwhelming majority of you have never seen so much as an FA Cup let alone a league title so let me explain something to you. Losing the title in the 3rd week in May(if that's what happens) and knowing you're going to go again the following year while playing CL football in front of people who remember what winning feels like is not failure. Failure is bringing your kids on the pitch after winning against a 9 man Liverpool, crowning yourselves champions in September and then celebrating missing out on the CL yet again and ensuring you'll achieve nothing next season yet again.
Having a club you can be proud of is worth more than any individual result and you don't have that so enjoy this moment where you celebrate your own failure. All you have are consolations. We have a great young team, a great young manager and a platform to build from. Your club is an assembly line of false dawns and failure.
  • Don't mind the spite. It's the only thing they have.
  • Man that Son miss hurts
  • That will be his greatest highlight amongst their fans when he’s retired, just watch.
Anyway, can’t blame him for that deliberate miss. That is what the fans would have wanted and they will laud him for that.
We threw it away against Villa a few weeks ago. We’ll learn and come back stronger.
  • You can't get more small time than celebrating a defeat because it might have stopped a team you don't like win something but doing so has made sure Villa will finish above you for the second season in a row. They just made sure Villa well and truly have leapfrogged them as a contender for a CL place for the foreseeable future.
Self sabotaging your longterm prospects to feel a very fleeting awkward joy. Only the spuds would not only take this deal but would even revel in it.
  • Ooh, Ange is spilling the tea ☕
    Love it
  • Rednapp now agreeing Sp**s don't have a winning mentality 😳
Jesus, I'd be so embarrassed to be a Sp**s fan tonight. Especially after cheering that loss
  • All hate and jokes aside... there is something wrong with the identity at Sp**s. It is far worse than what happened to us or United are going through currently. You would rather take the hit and be a lower mid table type of club than be Sp**s because you would have some dignity. The only way they could possibly shake it is by winning that UCL final or removing Levy and becoming a Dortmund/Leipzig/Brighton style sporting project and stop living off being a London club with a big catchment area.
  • I have to confess I’ve really warmed to Ange now…
Anyone that hates Sp**s like he clearly does at this point is alright in my book
  • Wouldn't be surprised if he's gone before the end of next season. Seems like his head is gone after their fans embarrassing display.
  • I don't think Ange is elite coach but this 3rd manager that coached Sp**s called them losers. That just embarrassing I don't this club will ever be good if Ange achieved something at Sp**s he getting out of there as quick as he can.
I actually thought Sp**s given their best today just some shocking finishing. Enjoy Europa league
  • i'm loving this Sp**s downfall.
Im not your usual Arsenal fan in that Ive never really cared about Sp**s. But it's so eye opening seeing this loser mentality in HD. I thought it was just Arsenal fans talking down Sp**s. But they actually are losers 😭
And now I feel sorry for Ange. What is happening?

The tears are extra salty at the moment.

They all seem to forget they had exactly the same reaction to us being in the CL final. I’m choosing to focus my laughter on watching them all twerk for West Ham now after saying how much they loved Spurs last week. If you want pathetic try looking at how they’re begging for other teams to help them.

As for Redknapp he’s always looking for an opportunity to get a few kicks in on us. Makes me angry any time he’s mentioned as a Spurs pundit when he’s clearly so anti-spurs :banghead:

Funny that….he was probably one of those Arsenal that was saying he’d rather see Arsenal lose the Europa League final to Chelsea than win it and see us beating Liverpool to lift it he CL. Short memories Mr DT hypocrite…take a good look in the mirror and listen to yourself…Every Arsenal fan I know was saying that and I know quite a few.

Dear Arsenal Mania, To all fans he Arsenal fans out there, remember the time not so long ago when most if not all of you were saying you’d rather lose the Europa League final to the Chavs if it meant we also lost the CL final to Liverpool, under no circumstances did you want to win it if we won the CL final, and you’ve got the brass neck to call us bitter small time vouyers….

What I don't understand, is if you actually watched the game, we took it to City for periods of that match, more than Arsenal have done in 2 games against them this season. Hell, they've bent over for City for the last 5 years, we are one of the only teams who ever seem to get a result vs City or score goals against them.

Had a couple Arsenal fans in my NFL group chat going off again today, I just replied with "fancy letting Aston Villa take 6 points off you to deny us CL, petty!"

I remember that too. Give them their due they certainly did their part, going down 4-1 in another limp dicked performance.

How did "we" stop them winning the league? We got beat 2-0 by the best team in all Christendom, and even then they needed luck.

Maybe their blowing it against Villa and West Ham was more contributory.

In 5 PL games at our stadium Man City have scored a total of 2 goals and have taken 3 points out of 15. . It’s been the one game we’ve properly shown up in the last 5 seasons. I doubt any other top 6 team can boast a record like that against city.

Any notion we bent over for them is pathetic and wildly off the mark

I'm not so sure, had they tried to go for the win and got it is more accurate, but you could also say had they tried to go for the win, they might have got beat.
Yes I should have added that. I remember watching that game thinking it's there for the taking and they just settled for the draw instead. But if you want to be champions that's the risk you have to take. Take the game by the scruff of the neck and win it when it's there.

Levy don't give us money to qualify for the CL, let alone give us money not to qualify for CL! :ROFLMAO:

Superb.

what a trio of pricks.
Maybe they should look back at their f*ck up at home to Villa last month when they were in the driving seat before shooting their big fat mouths off and throwing blame at Son and Spurs. The truth hurts AFTV…. as the truth as to why they’re relying on others lies much closer to home, and if the Spammers also fail to help them out are they going to have the same vitriol towards them ? You don’t hear us whinging about losing out on CL by blaming it on them failing to beat Villa.
