Some choice bits from salty United supporters on the ‘caf:

Gotta admit I love how much Lamela still winds them up in a game they’re not even involved in.

It's like they've only just discovered shithousing when it comes to Lamela.

A few of the Burnley fans thoughts during and after the game:

The ref wants Spurs to win!

Barnes lucky there, if that was Andy Carroll we’d have all been shouting “off”

Wasn’t deliberate by Ash

Barnes better watch it with trailing elbows

In defence of Ash, he gets short change from refs when jumping up and is often fouled himself

Pope wasting time already.....

Spurs doing very well defensively. Wonder if Dyche will have a tactic to combat the high line.

I’m disappointed really. Not one to wish injury on anyone but I had predicted Bardsley would terminate Bale’s season today... that’s not going to happen

They seem to have a thing for this woman called Madge.

Half time it is. Burnley playing really well. Gudmundsson looking very bright.

Here is Madge to entertain us.

if anything Spud headed Barnes elbow and injured himself

Corner headed in nmbut Kate heads away off line. Bugger!

Lucky Spurs again.

*****. Son scores

McNeil fouled by Lamlash, with studs up. Nothing seen by ref!

All over.
Robbery.
Clarets superb

Have everything well done lads
Played against 12 as usual

Did Kane foul Westwood to get the corner that led to the goal?

The bulk of the rest of the thread is a lot of in-fighting over their style of play and rubbish strikers.

"Clarets Superb".......hang on.......they thought they were good? What the hell sort of manic depressive football do they normally play? I found that an incredibly hard watch, and so so dull.

Superb for their standards probably.

It was the robbery comment that got me, like they deserved to win? If it was a draw I don't think anyone would have complained from either side, but robbed? Fucking idiots.

I actually think Oliver was ok for once, though Barnes not seeing at least a yellow pissed me off. Usually I can’t stand him.
Agree, hes an absolute thug. Kicking and throwing elbows.

I did find it funny that on their forum they seem to think hes harshly treated by referees. Could have been sent off twice last night.

It does baffle me when the referee stands over the player on the floor who has blood pouring out his head, does he not think, hmm maybe a yellow for the other player should be given here. Accidental or not, don't think anyone could complain at a yellow.

Wonder if this is also a case of "nice boys" that Jose hates......If only a couple had got into the ref, he'd have produced a yellow imo

I find it funny that no matter what forum you visit, including our own, every fan base feels like they're the victims of poor officiating. A lot of lillywhite coloured glasses on when we've had decisions go (rightly) against us.

I dunno. I didn’t really think there was anything in it tbh. Don’t get me wrong, even though his eyes were on the ball the whole time he still could’ve known exactly what he was doing but it was a normal football action and even if he was doing it intentionally he hid it well enough to escape any punishment for me.

Most of the time it's probably true, just poor officials... not biased for one or the other team

Maybe they meant that they were ‘robbed’ off a draw?

I think they did a VAR check on it, didn't they?
