Post match Blue moon. :hungry:

Half the squad needs to go.
Give them a slap on the way out.
Fucking cowards in front of goal.
Seriously see what we can get for Sterling now.

Could still be playing this time next week and we wouldn't have scored.

The main problem here is once we went down 1-0, who actually believed we had the character to come back? This team is such a far cry from the City side of last season.

just about sums up our season, dominate and loose.
as for some of the match thread comments, fucking diabolical ,city fans my arse.

We’re shit. End off

Please Pep. Do NOT say we played well and were unlucky etc etc. It’s getting boring. We need leaders personality and desire. Where has it gone. Oh yeah Anderlecht. God I’m pissed off with today’s showing. Mahrez unbalances us and Gundogan and Otamendi expose us. Ferma needs to go to midfield. Pep needs to trust the youngsters at some point. Starting to think he’s a wuss.

Disappointed. Does Pep have his heart in it at the moment..

Pep’s decision to move the world’s best CDM to CB this season, whilst not replacing Kompany, was fucking genius wasn’t it.

Our new shirt sponsor are Specsavers

I'm not so confident of the club bringing in the right players in the summer.
So many bad buys lately.

Tyler and Spitter I fucking hate. The sooner Tyler retires the better. To be actually enjoying the red card and making comment that it was about time a City player was sent off for a professional fouls is outrageous.
And Spitter, brings nothing to the table and his accent and antecedence disgusts me.

They sound worse than us after a defeat. Entitled pricks.

But weren't we all thinking this? Liverpool and City are immune to picking up bookings for fouls like Zinchenko's, so it's about time they were pulled up on it.

Unbelievable, but that’s what raised expectations of a fan base does for you. Every club is the same to a degree, but it just seems so ridiculous to see them complaining about such a superb team.

I do think they overplay at times though.

City fans are certain that the media are going after them. Always treated unfairly, etc.

Going by the comments they want to sell half the squad.

I do wonder what colour card Dean would have given Zinchenko if Pochettino was in the dugout instead of Mourinho.

I know. We’ll take them if they are no longer needed.

They just can’t handle what Liverpool have done this season, and the fact that despite being so good they still haven’t won the CL.

Lets face it, someone on that pitch was going to be on the sharp end of Mike Dean's signature 'Off you pop' finishing move.
Surprised he didn't pull it off earlier with Sterling...he loves that shit.

Deserve is a stretch, most days they'd have been 4 goals up by the time Zinchenko got sent off, and they even looked threatening down to 10. They're an incredibly good team so that is to be expected though.

also Son’s shot was straight at the keeper and got the most fortunate of deflections into the corner. Was a terrible shot, consistent with his general performance

No drama if it happens so early!

Dean would loved to have sent off Sterling. People would have been talking about him half the week!

Very true...I reckon they should've shut all the lights off with just a spotlight on Dean when he did it, and put on Duel of the Fates again as he whips it out.
He'd have fucking loved that.

Compared to the majority of teams in the league so have we...yet look at the nonsense that gets posted on here about our own team/players.

And are still 22 points off 1st place, having lost as many games as 10th place Arsenal. They are massively underperforming. It doesn't matter which team you support, if the performances and results don't line up with what you believe the team is capable of, you're going to be peeved about it.

This is true. Unfortunately when clubs start to become better and have success (relatively speaking in our case), then the fan base start to become entitled. Player for player Man City have the best squad in the league, they are just having a bit of an off season. To be able to bring on the likes of Bernardo Silva, Gabriel Jesus & Joao Cancelo, whilst still leaving David Silva on the bench just goes to show that.

The key difference between them & Liverpool is that Klopp pinpointed the exact weaknesses in their squad & bought excellent players in those positions. Every man & his dog could see that Man City were gonna struggle at centre back this year yet they haven't bought one in the two windows that have been available.

Spot on, City’s mistake was buying another full back, when what they needed was a commanding centre half to replace Kompany. Stones has been a massive flop, Otamendi and needs a leader beside him. Yes they’ve been unlucky with Laporte getting injured, but to have only three options at CB when you have all those resources at your disposal is pretty negligent. I don’t know if it was arrogance or incompetence, but it has cost them big time.

For the life of me I don’t get why they didn‘t at least try and get Alderweireld for the £25 million he was available for, would have been a no brainier for me.
