Its a tricky one with pool in the cl.....

They win they have more games although we risk them winning the comp. It also hampers their league challenge.

They lose and we can all laugh loudly at them. But they stand a much bigger chance of winning the pl.

Pretty much. I guess we want them to win but for it to be a win that psychologically and physically maims them. Yes, that would be nice.

Thought the Liverpool fans sounds pretty complimentary to be honest.
Apart from this one:

Always thought Son would have made an excellent red and 4th attacker in our lineup (similar to Firmino in terms of danger and bringing others into play). Pains me to see him at Spurs, but he is a helluva a player.

This implies they don't see him as good enough to make their starting eleven. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I know! So deluded. I like Firmino, he's a decent player, but he is not even close to sons level. Not in his finishing, skill or workrate, not to mention his consistency. Son would start for any team in the prem and most in Europe.

I agree, but workrate he is similar. Presses like fuck from the front for them.

Firmino, like Son, are both quality players.

Firmino doesn’t have Son pace or finishing but he’s very skilful and sees more than Son.

Would love him at Spurs.

AS much as I hate Pool, and their fans - I don’t think he meant 4th choice, but another excellent attacker in additiob to firminho, salah, mane...

Let them win this round whilst incurring a few injuries. This might affect their PL results. They can get KO’d of the CL in the QF.

Smug smirking Liverpool fan in the pub said he wanted us to keep going in CL. I assured him we would... in everything...especially the league. His smirk suddenly vanished. Underneath all that self-entitled delusion are some very worried 'pool fans ?

Found this in an article from Here

Erik Lamela, who pretends to like the sport but is really only in it to have a small piece of yellow cardboard waved in his face. Oh, how he loves it.
Would have read it, but the first two words in the first paragraph are "The Spurs..."

I stopped there.

The Spurs I can sort of handle in the right context

The Tottenham Hotspurs or The Hotspurs (I bet some yanks say that) is not ok

See I have always been a Spurs fan for best part of 60 years and have always said it as such.
Tottenham Hotspur is just that but Spur would sound stupid.
I'm a spur fan just not right.(n)

Talking to some of the overly arrogant bindippers last night in the pub, they're genuinely shit scared of us. I told them if they lose to United next week, their heads would drop
