A lot of us on here think Michael Oliver's performance was one of the worst refereeing performances we've ever seen and I've finally managed to track down a Leicester fan who thought the same.

No, wait...

Winning late on isn’t lucky. I can concede we rode our luck today as, even with Hugo in form, if Gray and Barnes were better finishers we wouldn’t have won. However the ref gave everything their way and we should have had a penalty at 0-0.

I can only think of two other games this season where I think we maybe got more than we deserved: Palace and West Ham away. Maybe Wolves away but that was more a game of two halves. The recent late victories have been deserved after being the better team for large spells and staying calm while chasing a winner. That’s just character. Rivals won’t recognise it in us as they still don’t expect it, but if Utd start doing it again (as they often did under SAF) then people will say it’s the mark of a great team etc.

I think my point here is that every other club’s fans are full of shit and just in denial that we are displaying the sort of character they’re own team are missing. F*ck ‘em!
Agree with you for the most part though we were also bloody lucky away at Fulham. They had 2 or 3 really good chances to go 2-0 up in the first half and we never woulda won from there. I think a draw woulda been a fair result.

I lost count the amount of times Llorente got held when trying to bring the ball down and nothing was given. Laughable really.

Jon, bless him, hasn't let it lie.

Upon being told that Spurs' fans were of the opinion that Oliver had massively favoured Leicester, as evidenced by the crowd reaction, Jon replied:

"Thick spuds fans just shout for anything. Worst than Stoke! We didn’t do any fouls until nearly an hour had passed, yet not one spuds player was sent of when they'd spent that hour giving away fouls!"

o_O

So far removed from reality is Jon that he's called out for being a Gooner Troll, which leads to a heated debate between Jon and another poster as to the merits or otherwise of Tottenham, with the second poster saying that, were Tottenham to win the league, he'd congratulate us. Well, this is all too much for Jon who replies...

"Your off youre nut then mate. ABT - “anyone but Spurs!!!”

o_Oo_O:ROFLMAO:

Let's just say that the poster who correctly pointed out

"Then it would be ABS, wouldn't it 'mate'?!"

is no longer Jon's mate...

I know as I studied journalism and sub editing I hate picking up on errors, I can't read anything without doing so anymore. I know people use one wrong in a sentence, but come on! Both! Just need swapping!

Why do other fans call us "Spuds"? It's not even insulting. Why not go for "Sperms"? Muppets.

I agree, theyre missing a trick. I mean imagine a birds eye view of our stadium on match days... thousands of sperms entering the toilet bowl

Dele got off a plane from a game went and hung out with a young spurs fan with cancer, because the kids Aunt asked Dele mum. My mates related to the kid said Dele was brilliant but would not lose at Fifa to the lad.

Trust Dele to do something nice while simultaneously also being a bit of a wee dick about it! ?
