Pleased - worrying to concede two goals but JM only been in job four days.

Eriksen - get rid January - I saw him bottle a tackle

I guess the positives from conceding is there’s no papering over cracks. This give José a good look at the problem and without the problem you can’t find a solution

The good thing, apart from the 3 points, is that the things that need to be fixed, defensive frailty and lack of discipline, and a soft edge when it comes to driving home an advantage, are exactly the sort of things you’d expect Mourinho to be best at.

Our midfield was becoming a mess towards 80th minute. I really don't know how Winks fits in TBH. Every pairing of a CM with him seemed to have no positive effect. He seems to run everywhere but at the same time also nowhere to be seen.

Fuck off just fuck off. 3 points and a long overdue away win.
Jesus christ, no need for that mate. Not like I've been throwing shit around for the entire game is it? Just upset we gave away 2 late goals. Same emotions you've shown for the win and the team.

Lucas is such a strange player for me, don't get me wrong i rate him. But, with his acceleration and dribbling, he gets the ball countless times one on one and 75% of the time will just jog and not go for it. I really hope it's a confidence thing as he had so many chances today to turn up the gears and run at them, instead just played a simple pass.

Yeah, compare to Son who also has great acceleration and dribbling and who often takes his man on.

Really happy with that today. We looked quite professional and just killed the game from the first minute. West Ham had fuck all chances really.

Winks is a rotation option, not first 11. Dier’s positioning was good. He did well.

We have a solid base to work from.

We didn't really learn anything from it, save that we'll be playing a touch more pragmatically and playing the percentages more with stuff like playing out from the back. I don't think anyone will be surprised by that though.

Our front four looked good for the first 50 mins or so, but then they always do when the opposition is a bit hapless, there is minimal pressure on the ball, and huge gaps between the lines to do as they please. They're very good footballers and will run riot.

The last half hour was bollocks. I think as a collective they felt it had got too easy and the level dropped off, but we started sitting back and trying to see out the game, but you have to do it as a unit. Not half a dozen. Alli/Son/Moura didn't get the memo though and weren't diligent enough and really all three could have been hooked in that last phase of the game, and then Eriksen and Sissoko didn't help off the bench either. Then you have the silly errors that started creeping in and being unable to win a header all of a sudden. We never make it straightforward, do we.....

A decent three points, and that's not something we've been able to say very often recently, means it's a good start under Jose and the first stepping stone to putting some momentum and form together.

Look`s like Moura will be Jose's regular first 11 starter. If he can get him and Kane to click that would be very handy.

Sanchez was solid all game then let himself down badly.

Dele, Son Kane all superb. Dier and Winks solid enough.

Lo Celso? Does he fit his plans? Have to wait and see.

COYS!
Moura will be sitting on the bench more often than not if he "defends" like he did today.

I don’t know about you guys but the highlight for me today was seeing our manager showing that passion on the touch line. This can only translate to the players in a positive way.

Eriksen had his chance to show what he’s made of, hopefully that’s the end of him

Thought it spoke volumes about Eriksens attitude when he had to pull a roll of tape and his shin pads out of his coat pocket to get ready to come on.

Contrast that with Rose, who was ready when needed and couldn't get his tracksuit bottoms off quick enough.

Eriksen will still be an asset offensively when we're cruising and doin good but the guy can't seem to perform when we're pressured and on the back foot. He doesn't seem to have the best mentality. still think he's one of the best when he can perform but way too inconsistent.

I’d like to know this too!
It sounded something like "I thought it was won, fucking hell" but I might be totally wrong, couldnt really hear it well. He definitely said the fucking hell part which the commentators apologized for, lol.
