I know when you are in the South Stand it can sound pretty loud, the trouble is

1, not load enough
2, just not enough

we need new songs, lots of new songs, we also need the crowd to sing them. I watched the game at home today and the noise most of the time was like being in a cemetery. the other week when Sheff Utd played Man U the atmosphere was superb, and just got me thinking how quiet we are. think we might have too many corporate seats, and to many fans, that got season ticket in the South just for the experience.

Is it bad that I just like going to the game, sitting in the Upper Tier seats and just watch the game? I suspect a lot of fans just go to watch the game and don't want to stand and shout for 90 minutes, especially against opposition like Bournemouth.

If I lived in England and could attend every game I would sing my heart out supporting the team. Problem as I see it is we need more «commercial» songs where everybody joins. And yes, I do feel it is an obligation to sing and scream when at the stadium...

To the tune of Please Don't Go.

Tanguy
We want you to know
That you we love you so...
The minute you came to the Lane
And we saw you play!

Chorus
Ndombele, Ndombele
Ndom...bele (long)

Ndombele, Ndombele
Ndom...bele (long)

Repeat.

you can sit and shout for 90 minutes, I sit and do a fair amount of singing shouting when I can go

I’ve always thought this would make for a great Harry Kane song, can’t quite figure out how though. There’s a few opportunities within the song.

One could be at 2mins 17secs

Replace:

Hurricane
You’re all that I could need
And I’m falling on my knees

With something like

Harry Kane
He scores with such great ease
He scores when on his knees*

(and repeat, may need to speed it up too)

*Leicester away

my suggested lyrics are crap but maybe someone else can work on that :)

Honestly mate, you would get bored after 10 or 20 games.

The novelty would wear off.

I'll cheer the team on, but I don't want to sing for 90 like a lunatic.

It's been mentioned on here in the past that we could easily have a great song similar to the We Are Hibs one:

Most of my contributions to this thread have been tongue well and truly in cheek but I genuinely think we could come up with a great song to this tune. Something along the lines of:

The Yids, the Yids woooaahooh
The Yids, the Yids woooaahooh
The Yids, the Yids woooaahoo-oooohhh
1, 2, 3, 4
The Yids....
In Lily-white and bluuueeee...
Since eighteen-eighty-twooooo...
Cos to dare is to dooooo

1, 2, 3,4
The Yids, the Yids wooaahhoo....etc.

It's easy, sounds decent, isn't tied to a specific player, and doesn't mention Arsenal...
