First 15 mins we were excellent without really creating a clear cut chance.. but now Watford are really exposing our lack of midfield

Alli's all round game is poor. He's capable of brilliance but his control, decision-making and passing are most of the time rubbish.

I don't care how close the Watford player was when Lucas flicked it, that has to be a penalty when his arm is that far from his body. It's a completely different situation to Sissoko in the CL final, not least where the ball actually hits. Forearm in that position has to = handball.

Winks will be exposed today. Almost a
4-1-4-1
Both Poch and Jose seem to have been under the outright delusion that he can be an effective No. 6. Jose has explicitly identified him as a “positional midfielder” and I think it’s quite clear that Poch planned his transfer business around the idea that Winks would play at the base of the diamond.

It’s total fantasy, he’s never in a million years a true No. 6, and the managers’ belief in the fantasy seems to have prevented us from going into the transfer market and rectifying the most obvious area to improve the team. It’s infuriating.
