Tottenham Hotspur have beaten their London rivals Chelsea to the signature of highly-rated Nigerian youngster Temidire Emmanuel Okuwa.

The 2006-born player completed his transfer to Tottenham this week and will represent their U14 team in the 2019-2020 season.

Can play several positions in defence?

Looks like we are finally addressing the RB issue, great signing.

Disagree. If you're good enough, you're old enough. Throw him in the deep end, I say.

I’m sick of Poch pissing about with our new signings. Fuck all this integration bollocks.

We need a RB, he’s meant to be a versatile defender. Stop dicking about and play him.

I’ve never been more serious about anything in my life.
Don't get me wrong, I'd be morbidly fascinated by throwing a 13 year old into a PL match at right back, but I'd prefer if it weren't for us.

He’s bar mitzvah age. He’s a man as far as I’m concerned.

Could Chelsea even sign him anyway? Where do they currently stand on signing youth players?

Where do they currently stand? Probably the same status as before... sign players now and negotiate down the fines later

They don't have a signing ban, they have a registration ban. So they could sign him but he couldn't play a match for them at (I think) any level.

They had an appeal against the ban dismissed, but I think they did reduce it to let them sign youth players.

Not sure why, as it was signing youth players that got them the ban...

Only just read this but didn't Chelsea get banned for signing young players from foreign countries? And we're signing a 13 year old from Nigeria? I suppose a 2 window transfer ban isn't much of a deterrent for us!
