duh! did he REALLY need to be tipped off? Anyone who vaguely follows the game should've been able to infer from ManUre's poor form and rumours from the camp that there was a chance Moyes would get the boot and then, hang on let me think this through.........oh yes, they'd need another manager. If LVG needs someone to spoonfeed that to him then maybe we're dodging a bullet as he clearly wouldn't have very much going on upstairs!

I reckon Utd sacked Moyes early to put themselves at the front of the queue for a new Manager. I personally won't be too upset if we don't get Van Gaal - he's had as many lows as highs in his career IMO.

He'll be a genius stunning manager if he goes to UTD.

If he comes to us he will be an abject failure.

It is known.

Though I suppose that is true for all but a handful of managers? To coin a phrase, their careers mostly end in failure. If we had to have a new manager I would prefer Ancelotti. But that might be a pipe dream!

Ya never know ...UTD could have heard that Sherwood is to be replaced and decided to sack Moyes and putting them in pole position to get Sherwood ??

Yep. This was Steve H's suggestion the other day - he wrote that Sherwood would then become a blinding success.
In such a scenario, how would some Spurs fans cope?!

Does anyone think theres any chance Sherwood will still be manager next season? we have a lack of options, he will point to a potential record points hall, if we had him from the start we would be champions league ect. Im getting worried

If honest ....I doubt he will still be here, this is spurs after all.
Also I do like some parts of sherwoods style but his bad points atm out way any good he does in my eyes.
The way he says things about certain players aren't good enough ....yes he maybe right ...as in training their not pulling their weight ....but that should be kept behind closed doors and push them players harder.
Also some of the changes hes made during matches aswell as some of the things he says ....

I do think hes learning on the job and in a few years he might learn from his mistakes and be a better manager ....but spurs want it now,not later.
Also whilst wrong ....I'm guessing there is certain players that don't respect him as a manager because hes done nothing to be respected for ( manager wise ) ....so I his losing some the dressing room.
I know everyone has to start somewhere and spurs being his first job,its a dam hard one.
However hes helped our youth players loads and I hope his willing to go back to his old job but I doubt he can now ....so IMHO he will go in the summer and I reckon he'll be at westbrom or maybe the spammers come next season.

What matters to Levy is the results on the pitch.

I have been told from a reliable source tha Sherwood is going nowhere. I would go so far as to say that "they" are very happy with progress that Sherwood has made in particular to the fact that he is starting our home grown young players.

Like it or not, we better get used to having Sherwood as Manager.

Oh Jesus Christ? I'm not sure that is true though. If they wanted him next year, they would have backed him when all the rumours came out before Sunderland game. They didnt

I am neither pro or anti Sherwood, but i can only say that from what i have been told, the results, style and playing our home grown players has impressedthe main board.

Read into that what you wish, but it is what it is. I do know that the board have a realistic expectation and that it has been met this season.

I have a feeling that United are waiting to see what happens at RM in the next week or two as Ancelotti so fits the bill for them He is proven at all levels inclusing in the EPL, has the kind of dignity they will appreciate and is young enough to spend a long time there. I think LVG is just an option for them but not their preferred...but just my onion

Agree with you there. Do you think lvg would come, or we would still go for him, if he doesn't get it utd job?

That, my friend, would be one huge colossal mistake.

I tend to agree with you and it would not surprise me the very least. To be honest all that matters to me is the results on the pitch. If these results add up to improvement progressively I'll be happy - but the fact that is that I have very little trust in Sherwood to take us anywhere. If for some reason Levy keeps him around and he proves himself I could not care less if his name is Tim Sherwood or jorg Klopp or Pep Guardiola. I don't have time to get annoyed by his interviews, gillet or otherwise.
