There are still some draft experts who say Chase Young should be the #1.
I get what they are saying, Young looks like a Kahlil Mack, Myles Garrett, Bosa Bros, instant impact defensive player who you can use to transform your defense.
That said, you have to take Burrow if you are Cincinatti. They need a QB (I don't think Dalton is coming back), they need some good news, they need someone the fans can latch onto (Burrow is from Ohio).....Burrow checks all the boxes, he is everything they need.
Which is why, being the Bengals, they will probably surprise everyone and take the center from Oregon for unknown reasons and continue being shitty.

He's from Ohio, he's going to Cincy. Dalton is past his prime, which wasnt all that good anyway.

Fair enough. Another downside is if your team produces a crop of players you fall in love with you then to watch them go to NFL teams you don't like. The Bengals are going to ruin Burrow like they ruin everything else.

With the Big-10(12) teetering on postponing the season (last i saw Nebraska and Iowa seem to be the hold outs) and Pac-12 sounding increasingly like they are going to postpone and then rumours that some of the smaller schools don't even have enough budget to perform the testing of the athletes it seems like a big chunk of the schools are going to at least postpone.

Tom Herman is a fraud. 4th season and we look like crap.
Damn i love college football. SEC being back today with Mike Leach vs a young LSU was so fun. The Air Raid in the SEC is a problem! But I never thought id be so fucking pumped to be so mad at Harbaugh again after the inevitable pumping by OSU but I am. I miss Michigan football.

Herman was really hyped up at Houston and for good reason. Not really brought any type of success to Texas though.
Saving hermans job i guess. Still feel that he needed at least one more year at Houston before jumping to a big program if he wanted to be succesfull. Some people need seasoning. Others learn as they go. Herman is one who needed seasoning, IMO.
