He was playing as a deeper playmaker in a 343 formation and everything went through him. He basically sat and stroked it around. Since then he has become more box to box which he seems to have the perfect makeup for being athletic, a bit of aggression and technically superb with both feet, but he definitely suited the deeper role far better and was more influential.

The person that told me about this is a football agent in this country who takes young turkish talent over to Turkey for trials with Gala and Fener etc etc. He has conducted business with Inlers agent in the past regarding other players... however i don't know him well enough to believe everything he tells me.

So please dont shoot me down i'm just passing on what i've been told.

You might be right, but I doubt we would be making that kind of signing in January. Would more likely be a sure thing. They are my local Serie A side, so seen him fairly often and I actually heard rumours that we had people looking at a few players at Udinese from a coach of another local (then) Serie B side (who was previously at Udinese) but that was a couple of years ago.

Can't see Harry travelling to Italy to arrange selling a player and I can't see Roma being interested in Pav anymore having just signed Luca Toni from Bayern.

I was fourtunate enough to share a box with 6 of Harrys friends for the Spammers game (Courtesy of Arry himself), and just like my gaffer at work they share an interest in all things italian. They did speak about learning italian and property in italy. My boss has been going italian classes for 3 years now and often visits the country with his old friends on business. This might be totally irrelevant, but I will ask my boss tomorrow if he knows why Arry has gone to Rome.
Hopefully its to bring back a player or 2 though (I reckon either Hunterlaar or a keeper

Harry doesn't do the deals himself, as he has stated many times its Levy that takes care of that. I couldn't not see him flying off half way through a season on a scouting mission either.

I'm not doubting he has flown to Italy but maybe it is for personal reasons.

Two things that would make this ITK clearer would be which part of Italy and how he got there. If it was on Levy's jet or through our folks at Stansted then it had to be Spurs-related.

I know some of the ITK have access to this kind of info so anyone able to get some clarity would be very useful.

That is a good point, Harry would look very silly if he went "shopping" for clothes or property in Italy and could not get back for big game - I would say private jet to look at a player!
