Official Line; Tottenham are saying that they have already made a statement and will not be making another statement regarding the departure of Harry Redknapp or the appointment of a new manager in the near future.

Unofficial; harry will talk to anybody who’s listening BUT it’s off the record (probably in his column satuday) He feels he’ s been under valued and forced out the club and strongly believes that Daniel Levy already has a replacement lined up. He doesn’t believe any players were involved or consulted. He feels the online information was put out by Levy to force him out. He had no idea this was going to happen and still says he had not spoken to Levy for a few weeks until this week. He says that the contract talks rumoured where rubbish and he wasn’t looking for a huge pay rise and that Tottenham showed no interest in extending his contract. I suspect you’ll be able to read it Saturday.
Regarding new manager; I can only state what I was told when they thought he was off to England.

Was told with authority that Levy didn’t fancy Moyes; that was made clear. No explanations but that was it.

Deschamps was the man they wanted to lead a new coaching group.
