Because I'm riding the new manager wave and am embracing all the positivity that follows, I actually quite fancy our chances in this one.

PSG will have come off the back of a grueling 2024/2025 season plus the Club World Cup. The players will be exhausted and will only have had a few weeks to recover (assuming they make it all the way to the final) so they won't be in a position to play a full strength XI for a full 90 minutes; I reckon they'll have to be cautious with the players so their domestic campaign (and CL) isn't compromised.

Our lot will have had a full summer break plus a proper pre-season. We should be well rested, fit, hungry and ready to go.

I wouldn't say I fancy our chances - they have just blown away a team that reached the Champs League final (no mean feat, however you slice it) 5-0

It's going to be an incredibly tough game game. BUT....I am excited about it now.

Last game, of last season, I knew we were going to get steam rollered by Brighton at home. That's why Ange had to go. It was incredible obvious how bad we were.

We actually have a manager now, and I'm definitely excited to see how it goes.

Absolutely, I feel the first tinglings of excitement at a forthcoming Spurs match once again.

Love the idea of a real manager sitting down with the data people identifying weaknesses and working out a cunning plan to beat PSG and then creating it on the training field. Great match to start for Frank.

We have been allocated the Piazza 1° Maggio as our "fan zone" - right in the heart of the town centre, next to the castle.
Nice shady area, might be very very hot in mid August.

PSG fan area less central but closer to the stadium.

Goes on to say there will be no drinking in the streets allowed, only in bars and designated areas.

FFS - just realised I'll be two-thirds driving to Poland when this match is on.......unless I refrain from piss stops and really bomb it through Germany! :cautious: :shifty:

If we win, who's droping £110 on this? Seems like a bargain since, according to the description, it will "brighten up any room'

Just realised this is only 3 days before our first league game, seems very odd! Have to get used to that two games a week squad rotation very quickly!!!

Yeah that one has 2pm Sunday written all over it. They only haven't changed because of the TV schedule but it will likely be moved.

I would be shocked if the Burnley game moved. The club would've had the chance to request a different day before the initial weekend's fixtures were announced. And if it was still under discussion, I'm sure they would've put out a statement as they did with the Villa match last season. IMO either we never requested a Sunday/Monday slot, or it's already been denied and we're not contesting it.

The Villa one took a while though before they announced it had changed
