Let's be honest, even if there are misgivings over Austin we are fucked regardless if Vicario gets injured for any length in time as Forster is incapable of being anywhere near competent playing out from the back - now we have Gray at RB and absolutely no LB cover save for Micky being shunted out there.

To be fair, not many can when he is on top form. However, Udogie has been a bit shit so far this season and I could replicate what he has been doing

I'd love to know the thought process behind this. It would have definitely been worth not naming Forster and risking Austin having to play a game or two to get the extra defensive cover.

Seems an even stranger decision to hand Austin a 5-year deal now. I know he's probably not on very high wages, but it's not like he had a transfer value we needed to protect either. And we've also got a couple of younger keepers who are highly rated in Keeley and Gunter.
