Merging both the Thursday night tournaments into one thread again, despite us being in one of them.

Third qualifying round in both tournaments sees a few familiar names enter the draw including Ajax, and in the Conference League we have two Norway v Scotland ties which is fun for me when Brann smash St. Mirren tomorrow (jinxed that, haven't I?)

Here are the ties.

So many teams in the Conference which must be great for some of the smaller teams.

Seems crazy to see Panathinaikos v Ajax playing a qualifier to get into the EL

A good 3-0 first leg win for Molde against Cercle Brugge and a 1-0 away win for Ajax against Panathinaikos

Fucking St Mirren equalised in injury time.

Brann'll do them properly at home next week.

I have never seen anything like it.

Ajax - Panathinaikos.

Brobbey missed the chance to win it for Ajax with the 5th penalty.

11 penalties later - Brobbey has a chance to win it again and misses again!!

Lucky for him Ajax wins it in the next penalty round. 17 rounds in total.

We're a lot closer to know who'll be in the Europa League with us.

Qualified Already:

Plus the winners of these ties:

Apart from the two Basque clubs and Porto, none of these should trouble us, at least on paper (?!)

Still some very decent teams and clubs with incredibly rich histories in there. Looking forward to this. Really hope we don't phone it in.

Just to get in with the ribbing of any Scots while I still can. Not that I think Spurs and St. Mirren have much of a supporting crossover

Europa League has been done above so I'll post the Conference League here. Winners of these ties reach the league phase, losers are out of Europe altogether. The big teams like Chelsea and Betis enter the competition here. Losers of the Europa League playoff round posted above also drop into the group stage.

Was just thinking how nice it will be to not have teams drop into the knockouts from the CL. Gives those sides in Europa a better chance.

Brann have had their Spurs in Zagreb moment in the ECL. I feel sick, and it's entirely deserved.

Every time a Norwegian team goes to Eastern Europe, they shit the bed. Doesn't matter which one, club or national team, they always do it.

They have turned the CL draw into a way more convoluted process than it needed to be with the dates of the fixtures not being decided until Saturday. :ROFLMAO:
