it’ll be awful listening to the usual players coming out at the end and giving it all the “international football is difficult” “we gave it our all” “we never give up and keep going” …

Any achievement England find in this tournament is in spite of Southgates management not because of it.

It’s also worth remembering, this team has played like this and scraped past Serbia, Denmark, Slovenia and Slovakia… not meant as disrespect to those teams but outside of Denmark we should be beating these teams fairly comfortably. First decent team we face, puts us out.
