2goals and 3 assists for de ketelaere for Atalanta tonight. Despite it not working out at Milan for him he seems to excelling now
I was just going to post the same thing.👍 I’ve always liked the look of him. There’s definitely a player there and I think he could fit into Postecoglu’s system.

Guardiola claiming to have caused the cut to his nose himself.

Think it’s apparent the stress is getting to him. Either that or a Man City-supporting rodent attacked his bonce.

Regardless of agreeing with a lot of what you write, this just isn't true. On average 6 of 8 groups were completely done and dusted before the final game and the whole point of doing away with the traditional group stage was this lack of drama in matchdays 5 and 6.
I know that was the general feeling but it wasn't the reality.

If we take last seasons CL groups going into the last game (spoilered below to save people) only 2 of the 8 groups were done as far as top two are concerned and even then they still had 1st/2nd or the Europa spot to play for o_O

Even the season we made the final we had to travel to Barca knowing we had to match or better Inter Milans result against PSV.

I can see why they've done it (ensure we have a Bayern vs PSG or Liverpool vs Madrid style game each week) but it's taken away all of the drama from the group stage.

It's been taken down. Obviously a play on the name "Brest" from the comments, but what was it?
Micah Richards was told to stay completely silent while the other three discussed Brest with as many innuendos as they could possibly cram in there.

I’ve not really been paying attention this season, mostly as I haven’t tried to understand the new format… is there anything riding on the Liverpool V Real game or is it a glorified friendly?

The winner of the match gets 3 "points" which improves their standing in the league phase "table".

Madrid’s front 3 is pretty powder puff. They don’t look a threat on the break at all unless Mbappe is released early and they offer no box threat either.

Real need points, they are low in the table. Liverpool can afford to drop points and be fine.
